I’ve recently been into Peter Gs at the Downsview Plaza and have been blown away by this one location only Diner. They have a full breakfast and dinner menu, bar and full dining areas. They are extremely prompt with the food. And the food is typically Canadian from Eggs Florentino to burgers and fries. Very good quality fruit salads and drinks. One side is sports bar the other family dining. The server staff are warm welcoming professional - Natalie, Sam and Alycia - many with ten or more years experience. It’s been said you find the best food in Canada’s older Plazas and that surely rings true at Peter Gs. But more importantly this hidden gem has heart. First time customer, although food was good, the service was awful, took about 10-15 minutes before someone acknowledged us, brought our food no cutlery, had to ask for cutlery and refill of coffee. When I went to pay was given attitude because the girl who was not my server had to print my bill as my server was taking another order.

Husband and went here for dinner Monday, what a bad idea that was! We ordered Caesar, the min they said they don’t have any tobacco, “should have been a red flag” meaning they don’t make any but might we digress, I ordered one. With in minutes I was was throwing up
Server took forever, had to come . Back more than once! After throwing up they gave us our food to take out, bare face lying saying “we forgot We had a big party coming” mean while the guy beind us wasn’t told the same
All in all a horrible 1st and last experience

I stopped here for my first time to get some takeout (wings, fish and chips, club sandwich). While it's called a bar and grill, the food is like what you would get at an old school diner. Good size portions and excellent food. I was greeted and served by Samantha and was surprised at how attentive and friendly she is. Something you don't see much of anymore.
