The Unagi Spaghetti arrived looking delectable, but the first bite revealed a disappointing truth. The unagi was lackluster, and the scallops were not as fresh as I had hoped. However, the Ikura with Karubi was a delightful surprise. The mild spice level was just right, allowing the flavors of the ikura and karubi to shine through. The Mango Golden Honey Toast was a spectacle for the eyes, but it proved to be a challenge for the palate. The sweetness was overbearing, and the mango, although ripe, was lost in the avalanche of honey and toast. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the Unagi Spaghetti, the staff responded with commendable patience and understanding. They promptly took the dish back and graciously removed it from the bill, which was a much-appreciated gesture. In conclusion, Petit Potato offers a hit-or-miss experience. While some dishes may tantalize the taste buds, others might not hit the mark. However, the service is impeccable, and for that alone, I would consider giving this place another chance.

I was excited to come try their pot of fruit tea with our lunch. We ordered two lunch specials. The specials included salad, a hot or cold tea and a dessert. Since we wanted to have the pot of fruit tea, we asked if we could have the two drinks from the lunch special in take out cups instead. We got a definite “No, it’s against our policy” Hmmm. Our lunch consisted of one hot plate of noodles & pork (which was quite tough but I guess pork does get tough if overcooked). We also order a bowl of noodle soup. We wanted to share but they ran out of bowls (at 2:15pm) so they gave us small plastic take out containers instead. Hmmm. The food was okay, maybe it would have been better if the circumstances were different. We finished it off with dessert that came with lunch: Mango pudding with chunks of real mangos. Pretty much the best thing we had. Unfortunately, we had to eat it with plastic take out spoons because… they ran out of spoons! Hmmm. The restaurant wasn’t busy(1/3 full). They said they were busy. I don’t know how much effort it would take to manually wash two bowls and two spoons. I’m still baffled at their policy about drinks only allowed to be consumed in the restaurant. Hmmm.

Asked for a lemon wedge for the popcorn chicken and the server told me it would be a $1 charge. Pretty ridiculous especially since the menu photo has the chicken served with a lemon.

We had the business lunch special that comes with complimentary edamame, salad, mini mango sago, and drink (milk tea or honey green tea). It was a good value for the amount of food. Ordering is done through QR code on your phone. Service of food was quick but they had to be asked to clean up plates and did not pay much attention to water refills etc. The teppan pepper beef rice was a little disappointing. There was too much rice and it was too wet for the teppan to give it any char or crisp. The reset of the food was very good.Child friendlinessThere are a lot of food options and desserts so children would have a selection but there is no specific child menu. They have Ikea Antilop high chairs stacked in the back. The restaurant is quite roomy so strollers and high chairs can easily be used. However there are a lot of bench tables so a little more tricky for parents with younger children.Kid-friendliness: Ikea Antilop high chairs

Forget about this place! Go to the one near the finch station. Horrible kitchen staff, work unbelievably slow, tasteless food. Waiting for 1 hour just to get the food. Order an appetizer, for a simple popcorn chicken, arrived after the main course. I guess they put the label appetizer for nothing.I used to go here every week. But this is the last.

If you live in North York you probably come here at least once a year - it's not crazy but a great spot to chill with the homies. The mango shaved ice is quite nice. Also be careful in the parking lot it is quite

Love the interior. Terrific selection of food and desserts. Open late night! Ordering was easy and the food was both delicious and amazingly plated.

I dropped by for some dessert after having dinner at another restaurant near by. There wasn't anyone else waiting, but the employee we spoke to said there would be a small wait and told me to enter my information in the system to join the waitlist. We were seated a minute after. This Taiwanese fusion restaurant has a nice ambiance, and an extensive menu with beautiful pictures to help you choose from the wide selection of food and drink items. While they provide physical menus, you're required to place your order through your phone by scanning a QR code that's associated with your table.I ordered the Strawberry Special Golden Toast, and the Four Seasons Green Tea Creama with 50% sugar. Both items tasted good. My only complaint is that the toast might have been over-baked because the crust was pretty hard and took a lot of effort to cut into.
