I hosted my 65th birthday dinner party on Monday evening at Prime on Avenue. As a perfectionist, I am thrilled to say that the evening was flawless. The food in Arthur's fixed menu was absolutely scrumptious. He, Steve and their staff took such wonderful care of me and my guests. Having a private room with lots of natural light was wonderful. My friends and family told me afterwards that it was the best birthday party they had been to in a long time.

If not for a recommendation, I would've never visited since obviously I do not eat Kosher.

Excellent steak! and meat platter! Great service. Appetizers and smashed potatoes are very good also.

Initial sticker shock; but you can share steak and apps to make it reasonable.

I'd come back for steak alone.

Very nice place.Wait staff was very friendly and polite, though a bit slow.Food was delicious, at least whatever I was able to eat.Appetizers, we had Beef carpaccio and Cigars, very good.For entree, we ordered their Chef special cut, which was a steak and veal with some side dishes and sauces. Everything on that board was amazing, except for the veal, it was just not edible.
