I ordered a 6-inch Black Forest cake from R Bakery for $24.99 and it was worth it! The cake tasted delicious and the quality was great. The service was good and the staff were welcoming. I do recommend this bakery

I have been a customer for many years now. They have great sandwiches, bread, and hot plates, but their cakes are not always fresh. The items being sold are of an acceptable price. Unfortunately, there are always bugs flying around in the bakery, creating an unpleasant experience. They do not have a fly swatter and do not seem to care about dealing with them. Does it require a complaint to the City of Toronto for you to deal with the bugs?

Iv been coming to this bakery for over 40 years. After yesterday I’ll never come back to this bakery again. I went in to buy some bread and lunch off the hot table. The Staff that was helping me was to busy talking to her friend, joking about being 45 mins late to work vs listening to what I wanted. I asked for some chicken sauce on my food and she wasn’t paying attention and put hot sauce when I told her that I did not want or ask for hot sauce on my food. Her friend told her to just clean up the top and give it to me. They both started laughing. This is not safe. She was rude and yelled at me, where I left everything and walked out. In the last few years this bakery really went downhill. The older ladies work so hard in there. It’s really unfortunate, my family has been coming to this bakery since it opened ordering cakes, food for our luncheon pastries, all our bread. We will never be back.

I have been a customer of R Bakery for nearly two years and have generally enjoyed their products. However, my recent experiences with one particular staff member have been disappointing. Her communication has been consistently rude and unprofessional, both in my interactions and in how I’ve observed her treating other customers.
While this does not reflect the behavior of the entire staff, the repeated negative experience with this individual has made me uncomfortable, and I’ve decided not to return. I hope the management addresses this issue to improve the overall customer experience.
