Have been coming here for almost a decade and it’s a pleasure every time. The pasties and cakes are always delicious and fresh, and the variety of bread is wonderful. Their sandwiches are super tasty as well and make for a hearty and filling lunch.
If I had to recommend just one item to try, it would no doubt be their pastel de nata. It’s perfectly decadent and rich with a beautifully crisp layer of sugar. It’s the perfect balance between creamy, sweet and crunchy!
The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which has become rarer over the years in Toronto. They treat all their customers very warmly and are the embodiment of a local neighborhood bakery.
The coffee and espresso based drinks are delicious as well! Nothing too fancy or modern but timeless and classic.
Lastly, the prices are extremely reasonable for all their items. For people struggling with inflation, it’s a welcome relief to be able to afford a nice treat once in a while.

Love this quaint cafe/bakery/eatery ☕️ 🧁🥖🍝 They make the best Americano and Cappuccino. The staff is so friendly, especially Tania who offers the best customer service. She's so friendly and makes a great cup of coffee 👍🏼 We love to come here often, it's a delicious place to eat, enjoy a hot coffee and interact with the staff. It's how we like to wind down after a hectic day/week... at R Bakery 😌

Super disgusting and disappointed with my experience. I asked for 2 large ham and cheese sandwich.
she grabs a sandwich from the display that mind u has sat there all day bc the cheese and ham is crusted and hard around the edges and bread is completely stale! Absolutely disgusting! She couldn’t even have the decency to ask if it was okay that she gave me that one and she didn’t even add to the sandwich! BOTH SANDWICHES LITERALLY HAD 1 SLICE OF CHEESE AND 1 SLICE OF HAM LIKE IM SORRY $10.99 FOR A .90 cent bun and 2 slices is RIDICULOUS!
And we asked to toast them, 15 seconds not even on the toaster middle is completely cold still, cheese is not melted! Had to go home and toast it myself! Like what do people get paid for IF U DONT LIKE YOUR JOB THEN DONT WORK SIMPLE AS THAT!

It's the Fall season.....have you had any apple pie?? Try it...just by itself, or with ice cream, wiped cream or even with a slice of cheddar.....it's good lots of ways. So good.....try another piece!!!
Delightful bakery.....good coffee, pastry, baked goods and hot food (no hot food on Sundays). Try their olive bread......you'll be back for more. Mornings they do breakfast......start your day there........5 STAR BTW.....need a birthday cake.....you need to see the outstanding creations....a cake for everyone from the youngest to grandma..you'll be a big hit when you bring one home!!!

I came here to eat the other day I cant understand the ppl working there.. When I got home I check the charge in my bank and it is so wrong they charge me extra.. I never check receipt or any but the reason i check my banking is the guy beside me inline told me to to check if they charge me right ..I tried to email them they dont care so always make sure they charge you right.. Never coming back here... Just keep my money I hope your business will last doing this

First time here and noticed a wide selection of sweet goods. I only wished there were some gluten free options for those who are gluten intolerant. To the owners, my family would love to keep coming since we live in the neighborhood but please, please consider adding some gluten free items since many can’t eat gluten. Even baked macaroons, Rice Krispie bars, GF bread or a savoury item etc. would be so helpful!
