Got the hanami set. It was so delicious. Was beautifully packaged for great at home dining experience. Was easily the best sushi ive had in a long time in Toronto/GTA area. So much attention to detail in the chriashi don down to the placement of each sashimi item Obvious how much care and love was put into making each item. The uni was fresh. The price was a bit expensive, but well worth it. The restaurant has deals on the sets occasionally which is a great time to try this delicious set. Got this for myself and my friend who tend to like a bit more food than the average person and the portion had us comfortable and satisfied by the end.

While the seafood are fresh, we felt the dishes are quite mild, or overly sweet. Our favourite is the miso cod: it was cooked just right and the seasoning is on point. There is a 8$ deduction for parking if you spend more than 50$. Service is good and fast.

Sushi take out dinner.Beautiful presentation, sashimi is fresh, uni is very good as was the additional spicy salmon rolls.First time ordering from this place. It’s a tad pricey but the current special of 25% off Oomori tray helped. Also the spicy salmon is 2 for 1 right now.Happy we gave this place a try.

Good looking place on Instagram, just okay in real life. There isn't any dedicated parking for the restaurant so you'll have to look for something nearby either on the street or in one of the garages. They recommended that we make a reservation for a Saturday night dinner so we did. Ours was scheduled for 6:30pm. It was pretty empty when we got there but did pick up through the night. You'll probably be okay walking in. The menu has some feature items and the pork neck skewer was one of them. It was just okay, nothing outstanding in terms of flavour or texture. We also tried a pork belly skewer that was just as mediocre. Not that tender and the flavour was pretty much the same as the pork neck. We tried two different types of torched sushi - the salmon and the tuna. I normally enjoy salmon more than tuna but the latter seemed to be torched way better. Our splurge piece was supposed to be the black cod. It was my favourite dish of the night but pretty pricey for the piece that we got. All in all I wasn't too impressed and would rather hit up one of the other spots in the city.

Ambiance, service, food, drinks are absolutely wonderful. Had Takoyaki,Mixed Tempura, Miso soup, Chicken skewer, Tequila Sunrise. Everything is so delicious and the presentation itself if eye catching. Will visit again?

Avoid this place if you are looking for a good experience with Japanese food and vibe. They are overpriced for the quality. They don't know how to make Japanese food at all. It's ashame they present their food as Japanese dish! Sukiyaki broth is just dashi with water and we paid around 50 dollar for the portion in the photo. Sushi is so fish and the sake is the way overpriced for the junmai $120. The staff are not professional. their quality is worse than all you can eat sushi place.

Little spot just off of Sheppard and Yonge. Nice vibes and atmosphere. Ordered sashimi and some nigiri. It wasn't as fresh as I thought it would be, but they do give thick cuts. It's a competitive area and i just think there are some better options for izakaya not too far away.

Had a fantastic birthday dinner at Rain with my family. We ordered their sushi birthday cake and it was super cute and the fish was super fresh. They even sang happy birthday while presenting the cake. A definite must visit. Overall a fantastic birthday experience.

We happened in this place by accident. And I loved it at first. It was the perfect venue for a quiet long overdue catch up with a friend. The food was good. I had a small problem with the torched sushi, I was tod it would be a different type of fish, but it wasn’t a huge deal. The huge deal was the roaches. It was a problem. On the wall, on our booth, on the floor and finally one got into my wine glass. The vibe of the place also got a little weird. Music stopped, front door left open on a very cold windy day This place has potential for sure, but the bugs must be dealt with.

Super pretty place, very cute and secluded for a couple or just friends catching up. The vibe is immaculate, great music taste! And the service was quick and ready. I had the teriyaki short rib and I cleaned my plate! Definitely going back there again. Not too far from Yorkdale mall but no parking :( the calamari and tempura were also great. 10/10!

went for dinner, great food and great service! the staff were very considerate and accommodating, wide rage of selection in terms of food/beverages. Wagyu was tasty, sashimi were fresh, and the black sesame cheesecake had a rich flavour to it!

I love the atmosphere of the place. The sashimi wasn't as fresh as I thought it would be. I actually liked the torched sushi more. I like how the torched sushi has filling in-between the rice such as avocado, imitation crab meat.... Getting the bottle of sake was a nice pair with the dinner. I think if I come back the following time I would be trying their skewers or shabushabu. Maybe cooked food is the way to go....

If you are looking for a typical izakaya, avoid this place. Vibes were confusing more of a Japanese restaurant/sports bar vibe. The food was very overpriced for the quality of food. We ordered the beef tatake, chicken karaage, pork neck, chicken wings, assorted torched sushi and sashimi moriwasi. Do not get the chicken karaage it tasted like chicken balls from Manchu wok. The torched sushi was not it the sauces overpowered the rest of the sushi.

Had really high hopes coming in. Upon arriving, we realized this place has a typical Chinese all you can eat feel to it. The chairs were greasy. The menu was in Chinese / English. The sushi chef took off half of his mask while he was preparing food for the customers. And the waitress was coughing on and off. We couldn't stand to stay more than 5 minutes and left. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
