SAKURA at York Lanes

first time i came, one of the guys were rude. Rolled eyes when I didn't tip for takeout. The other cashier was nice though. I actually got a really good portion size for my Kamzatang, and it had lots of meat inside. Also flavorful! I have to agree with that the food here is overpriced for some cafeteria style university food served in plastic plates.

This is my second time coming here. I feel like the staff have a snotty attitude. The first time I came in here which was around 3-4 months ago, I ordered my food and the guy who asked what my order was sounded annoyed. Came in here again today, I tell the cook what my order was 3 times, which is fine, but when I show her an image of the food I want since she couldn’t hear she just replies with “Oh!”. If you are going to run a business, at least show some basic class. Also, no head notice that my food was ready and instead looked at me and pointed to the counter like I am some idiot. My pork was ice cold in my soup, probably won’t return.

The food is good, but the chicken katsu is not thoroughly cooked. I only ate like 4 or 5 pieces of the cut chicken. I hope next time, you would cook it well. People might get sick because of this.

I had my headphone in and didn’t hear the cashier call my order. It’s obviously unintentional and not malicious on my part. When I noticed and came up to the counter I was greeted with dirty looks and bad attitude by the cashier and staff. Mind you the restaurant was pretty dead. I honestly won’t come back.

Had the kimchi fried upon, it was so delicious. I recommend trying this spot for a quick bite to satisfy some cravings.

don’t eat here. Got the katsu curry and the chicken curry on rice… terrible, no flavour(like none at all somehow).. the seaweed salad was good

I personally love the food here.
Their portions are fair and they have good options to choose from.
I personally would recommend this place.
