To be honest, I'm not mad at all when I found a hair in my pick-up order. People are more careless when they are busy. I understand and forgive them. However, it's going to be a bit hard to convince me that this is perfectly hygiene. I think it's fair to take down 2 stars for this. So it's a 3-star for now. Then, this store is called "SanTong" store, which implies it's making the "Shandong"-Province style of food. In Chinese, this is called "鲁菜" and trust me 鲁菜 is delicious. However, based on a personal point of view, they are making (good) Northestern Chinese food 东北菜.Their Northestern food is actually not bad, but it's not what I'm looking for on that day. So I'll take a star off for this as well.

Nice pork rib noodle soup

My family and I were in the area and we dropped in to SanTong because it was the least crowded among other restaurants nearby. Food is decent and the staff are very helpful.

One of the worst customer service I've seen!

Nathan Cheng

It feels more like a home than a restaurant and the food tastes amazing and home cooked.

Love this place, the sweet potato dish is so good. Hui guo rou is also super tasty. Would love to go again~~~~

Very good food, decent portion. I don't. understand why some ppl know nothing about Chinese cuisine but giving bad comments. This is my first time ordering take-out here and It's exceeding my expections. The oysters are the best in Toronto I would say. I'm astonished when I saw some comments saying that the services is bad lol as if they are supposed to be treated as embassadors-- Come on 黄焖饭 is priced $12 each what do you want man.

Fantastic and delightful food, I loved the mood the spot has, and the cashiers were very kind. Will definitely come back in the future.

Food was mediocre. Ordered the wonton soup - the wontons were tasty, but the broth a bit bland. Dumplings were good, but would've been better if served with sauce. The spicy chicken hot pot was tasty (note: not boneless). Service was okay. Overall, not impressed enough to return.

The braised chicken dish is served with a bowl of rice. I found it to be a little too watery for my liking. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. I thought the dish was "just okay" overall. The sausage skewers were the basic longanisa sausage while the lamb skewers were pretty standard tasting. The meat on the skewers felt very minimal too.
