Seara bakery is possibly one of the best places in north York for a baked good. Their bread is sweet and fluffy and always amazing to have. With their sweet treats always on display and cool, you’ll always have a variety of options to choose from. Sadly it seems like they’re under development of some kind because from the outside it looks like they’re doing construction work on the inside so that gave an underwhelming tone to the atmosphere. Overall lovely place to get some good quality food, but wouldn’t recommend to stay and eat if you’re looking to enjoy the atmosphere of the bakery.

Open while under construction. Got tiramisu slices and the person who had them loved them. I also got a Too Good To Go bag and there was something like 30 buns, a bag of other sweets and a tray of custards. I gave most of it away but the buns were fresh and tasty. So, i would say their offerings are plentiful and generous.

I came in on a wedensday night at 645 pm, and the bakery was empty i sat down and waited for someone to come 2 guys came in and the waitress goes.stright to them and takes the order and I had to wait 25 mins while she talkes to them. This bakery service got so bad 👎 coffee is burned and nobody speaks English just Spanish I don't even think nobody has papers to work here.

Good thing for the service, my server was Tania, she was very polite and professional, was a little hard to hear over the other 2 ladies yelling but other wise the café is a decent size but poorly maintained. The food was ok, cheesecake was nice and smooth but the prlortugese tarts were a little sweet. Not sure would be my first choice considering carols cheesecake is close by. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I’m not one to write negative reviews but this place really needs one. Waited 20 minutes for a table, and still no one was attending to us or cleaning up tables to seat us. We had to clean up our own tables just to seat ourselves. Had to hunt down servers just to get the menus because no one came. Got our orders wrong AND missed some orders as well. Not only was the service terrible, but the attitude of the servers were worse. Just very unfortunate how this place went downhill. I won’t be coming back.

You should eat here, if you want to clean your own table, go on a scavenger hunt for a menu, or wait an hour for a fried egg.

Very bad attention from the staff, this morning we went to breakfast and the waitress who was only one did not come to clean the table so we had to clean it since we tried to understand that she was the only one, in short we realized that she did clean the other tables and even though they had arrived later they were served first, anyway, when she finally approached us we asked her as a favor for a sauce to accompany our food but it never arrived, we saw that they served others so we asked her again, anyway we thought she might have forgotten, in short she was pending on the other tables but passed us by, we let that go but when it was time to pay I approached the counter and was waiting to pay and even though I had arrived first and had been waiting for a long time a girl who was behind the counter with faded yellow hair jumped me and charged others who were on the other side and even seeing that I was There she passed by and charged another person, so I told her I had arrived first and she said no, that she was charging them first because she was serving them even though I had been waiting at the counter for a while. She was rude and indifferent. I didn't want to make the problem bigger and decided to wait. I want to think that it wasn't a racial issue and that both girls just decided to serve me however they wanted.I have been to the other branch and they have always been friendly, but this was the first time I came to this one. I suppose that if they do not want to serve people from other countries, they should then specify that they only serve people from their country and that way we can move on and not be treated badly. I hope that this is not the case.

Food is great here, especially for a quick coffee and sandwich/sweets. Maybe reconsider who you hire…. The SERVICE on the other hand is TERRIBLE ! I got there at 8 they closed at 9. Latin women was our server and she had no manners, even tried to argue that she needed to remove all plates and cutlery 10mins before closing time. I had a latte and she demanded I finish my drink immediately because she needed to put everything in the dishwasher, politely I told her I’ll bring it up to her when I’m done again she demanded me to finish my drink because she needs to put it in the dishwasher . I then proceeded to pay for my bill and she added a water to my bill in which I mentioned I didn’t have a water .. with all the attitude in the world she said “well someone ordered it and has to pay for it” I asked my family who’s water it was and resolved the issue .. she then spoke to my aunt with attitude and said “obviously you didn’t tell me that the water was yours”(which makes zero sense because she took all of our orders) I was livid at this point and told her that her attitude stinks and she spoke back with disgust. my family personally knows the owner and they will hear from me too. Very dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted by this womens attitude. Unfortunately I will never come back.
So walked in and stood behind 3 ladies ordering at the display counter. The young guy serves them some cakes to a table.

I continued to wait at the display I wished to pick some items from to buy and then another person at the til in line was served after the lady.

A week ago today Ives with my mother to have breakfast. We order two lattes two toasts two milk custard’s. The lattes was cold. A group of people behind us came later and got served before us , another couple got served after us. My mom asked the cashier and she just shrugged her shoulder. Half hour later of waiting while everyone is being served the toasts come to the table we got up and left . Better training is needed. The workers lack respect for customers .
