Absolutely incredible experience! We had the Baghali Polo with Lamb Neck, and it was amazing, so tender and flavorful. We also tried the Koobideh Kebab, and that was just as delicious. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The portions are HUGE! After eating at the restaurant, we still had enough to take home what felt like four extra portions! To top it all off, they welcomed us with complimentary salad, Coke, and cucumber yogurt, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch.

I ordered a koobideh and a baghali polo with lamb neck for pickup from the Shamsheri restaurant on Sheppard Avenue. The quality was amazing—just as delicious as the food I used to have in Tehran. I haven’t had such an incredible koobideh anywhere in the United States. After so many years, I finally enjoyed a proper Iranian meal. The portions are also very generous—each dish can easily feed two people. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the food, but maybe I’ll do it next time and share it.
