I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks location. A male staff member with fuzzy Afro-looking hair was extremely rude and unprofessional toward me, while I clearly observed him being polite and friendly to other customers. There were multiple staff members standing around doing nothing while tables were dirty. I politely and kindly asked him if someone could wipe a table that was sticky and covered in crumbs. I waited over 10 minutes, assuming he would either clean it or send someone, but my request was completely ignored.
When I asked another staff member, he jumped in very rudely and said, “Nobody is going to wipe your table.” This was said in an aggressive and dismissive way, even though I remained respectful the entire time.
I want to be clear that I was very polite throughout this interaction. Despite that, I felt disrespected and treated differently. It honestly felt discriminatory. I was wearing clothing that represented my country of origin, and the contrast in how I was treated compared to others made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
On top of that, the service overall was extremely slow and unprofessional. I had to repeat my order six times just to order a latte and a cookie. Something that should have taken seconds became unnecessarily frustrating. The wait time was also very long.
This level of service is unacceptable, especially since this Starbucks is located inside a university. Another thing, this location is in university, why is there loud club music when everyone is trying to study?
Students deserve respectful, efficient, and professional service. There needs to be serious improvement at this location.

Great people. Azam was so helpful
No refills on a 3 dollar coffee? So just because this store isn't corporate its now the consumers job to be understanding about the no refills policy here-not cool. Starbucks is supposedly a 'legacy brand'. Part of legacy branding is universal service and product across the board across the borders. This isn't in-line with that.

I met a girl there. Her name is Didem. She's so sweet and sweet, and she gave me such good advice. She's such a friendly person. She made me a drink just the way I wanted it. Thank you so much.

This Starbucks today had a lady take 10 mins to order and while there was a line of 10-12 people, and the other staff(4) were just standing there. This one guy on his way out got a coffee made for him while there was 12 people waiting in line! This one lady opted to take care him while other people in line are have been waiting!
This is what happens when managers/supervisor befriend employees: there’s no fear of getting fired, then ppl do not work hard! Support local business, not Starbucks.
Speed of service could be greatly improved. Now setting that aside, the staff at this location are friendly, especially Shaan.
Within a week of coming to this location, he's remembered my name and my order. I've never had this happen at the other locations, even the one at my usual office building.

They take forever to make the drinks. I’ve had TWO ladies receive their drink before mines and I ordered before THEM. They take over 15-20 minutes long and I arrived early in the morning before my classes ever start and always end up late because of it. It’s a complete mess at this location and shouldn’t be taking LONG for a simple latte.
I don’t get why Starbucks expects people to stand in line like sheep for 15 minutes just for a coffee. Hire enough staff to serve faster. I’m not waiting that long — herd culture isn’t for me

Very poorly managed. On a busy weekday, they scheduled two trainees with little to no support. The drink-making area was messy, and while five people were supposed to be working, three disappeared during the rush, leaving only the two trainees who clearly didn’t know what to do at the front. I ended up waiting almost 20 minutes for a simple drink.

Don’t understand why this location charges more for the same drinks. They don’t give receipts but on average it’s a dollar more. So I’m paying a dollar more for worse service and subpar quality. Ya no thanks, and on top of that we’re students. Why take advantage from the broke and needy

I tried the Iced Cherry chai for the first time and it was great 👍
I stopped by for an iced tea latte around lunchtime today and noticed how it was prepared. It seemed like the drink was initially made hot, and then ice was tossed in afterward, quickly melting and diluting the flavor. To make matters worse, the milk was spilled over the sides of the cup and was hardly wiped down before being handed to me. I understand it was a busy rush, and I genuinely appreciate the hard work of the staff. However, ensuring that drinks are (at the very least) adequately made—especially considering the price—would be much appreciated by their customers. A bit of extra training for the lunchtime partners might help streamline the process.

I ordered a latte with coconut milk because I am Lactose intolerance and they still give me normal milk. I went back asked for a change and I think they still gave me the same thing. Don’t even want to come back to argue. I wish the person who made the coffee have diarrhea.
