I used to love this place until today.Today, Ebi fries were soaked in oil, curry had too much water, not like before, it is not Japanese curry I know. Toppings on rice changed. (No pickles)Chicken used for karage was not fresh and the meat was turning brown. What happened to my favorite place? I hope they keep up the great quality they had before. Disappointed.

12.99 chicken duo , only two pieces chicken and 1 piece carrot in curry? I used ordered $9.99 chicken, it has 4 pieces chicken, today i ordered 12.99 chicken duo, based on 9.99 one, it also has extra 2 piece fly chicken , but I only got 2pieces small fly chicken and 2pc curry
The price was cheap and the taste was very good! I ordered karaage curry and there was a lot of it so I had some left over. The employees were friendly and it was a great experience :)

Tried their Chicken Duo Curry as part of their Holiday Special. The Chicken Karaage were large pieces and easily made up for the smaller amount of braised chicken in the curry. The curry sauce went well with the karaage and with the rice, along with the added vegetables as sides.Overall was fairly decent and the portion size was just okay for one. The Holiday Special of $12.99 (as of this review date) for all curries and stews in store made this good value.

Ordered the chicken duo curry ($15.99) through Uber Eats, which was chicken karaage and braised chicken. The taste of the curry was good and up to my standards, but I definitely preferred the braised chicken over the karaage. I found the karaage to be quite bland, which is surprising, because it is fried chicken! The portion was a bit small for the meats, as the karaage came seperately (presumably to preserve the crispy texture) with three good sized pieces, but there was probably only 3 small pieces of the braised chicken hidden in the curry sauce amongst potatoes and carrots. It was nice that they packed the rice separately, with some corn, edamame and kimchi.Overall, because I had an Ubereats coupon for 40% off, it was worth it as it came out to a total of $33.40 before tip. Definitely reasonable for a delivery meal in Toronto. But at full price, I can imagine it not being quite worth it for the portion size.
