Despite all the negative reviews, I figured why not try this restaurant out I used to go here with my father when I was a kid and the food was amazing so I gave it a try and to my surprise the food was amazing fresh Aki and salt fish they gave a good Amount of Aki to rice ratio The festival was fresh and hot and The peanut porridge was incredible. It’s exceeded my expectations

rice was cold and so was the chicken. Stale rice and chicken was tasteless. Salad was soggy. Never go here.

We ordered

CURRY GOAT WIT RICE AND PEAS AND OXTAIL GRAVY

BBQ CHICKEN WITH RICE AND PEAS AND OXTAIL GRAVY

and the food was absolutely garbage
The meat was undercooked and there was red meat shown in the curry goat which made my friend felt sick and vomit. The bbq chicken was very stale and it was hard to bite in and take out the pieces.

This is not ok since it is a restaurant and their meat shouldn’t be undercooked to serve to costumers this could result in costumers getting very sick or ill.

This restaurant needs to do better or needs to be inspected by an health minister. It is very sad since we paid 33$ after tax for this food to at least have a solid meal to get through the day but get served undercooked meat instead. Sunrise needs to do better it has been a disappointment with this franchise recently.

Ordered the oxtail and rice meal and it was delicious. I will definitely be ordering again.

I ordered the Oxtail meal and it was really good. The serving and price are comparable to other restaurants. It actually tasted better than the other oxtail that I tried from 2 different Carribean restaurant for the last few days in Toronto which has more star in reviews.

Poor customer service. Rude, and bad food. Never going to order again. Bad experience with this place

Ordered boneless chicken, and paid a premium for it and they delivered boned curried chicken. Had to pay $ 400 in an emergency dental bill because of hte chipped tooth from the bones. Very small and hard bones, that are in the gravey and rice as well. Unable to contact anyone with the number on google to even talk about this incident.

I came here because it’s so poorly rated am I’m almost certain that’s the only reason why people eat here. Saw it on Tik Tok and had to see for myself

Absolutely the worst it has been in years! Food was not edible, tasted days old and hard. Porridge was sour. Should not be served to people. Wasted my money.

Disrespectful, aggressive and arrogant night crew (645am today) . A complete disgrace.

They should be ashamed with the food they serve.
Felt sick soon after, Do yourself a favor. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I would have just left my money o the counter and not eaten the food and feel sick.
I got a piece of BBQ and jerk.
Both were bad enough but the BBQ I'm sure is the day old fried coated with sauce, I could taste the old frying oil throughout the Chicken.
Jerk was not fresh and cold. Worst ox tail gravy I've ever tried.

I eat at this place before .but yesterday i were sick so i uber aet a soup a chicken soup and it is the wrost soup i even had you all need to do better sad to say i was not happy at all🤔🤔🤔🤔

I ordered two jerk chicken with coleslaw on Uber eats and only received one coleslaw that was filled half way that makes the business look horrible.
