Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant

Ordered off Uber Eats (4.1 stars on there) the stew chicken with a stew gravy for the rice. But guess they got too lazy to make a homemade sauce or something cause it tastes like just a bottle of barbeque sauce drenched onto my chicken and rice. Got corn and cabbage as well. But they skipped the cabbage. And just poured the frozen or canned corn into the container I guess. The chicken was mostly bone. No joke maybe one or two bites of actual chicken in mine??? Only redeeming part of this was the rice which is adequate. Not good, not Bad, Just acceptable. Amazing paying 30$ for maybe 12$ in food at best. Got scraps, canned corn, and okay rice. Most disappointing thing I've ever ordered. 1 star is more then this place deserves.

Great carribian food! Amazing Jerk, soup, rice and peas, king fish, Jamaican pie, red snapper, tropical drinks!! Very hardworking pleasant ladies!! Thank you for great food!!

It takes long time for food to be ready and the staff rude

My husband went here to grab some lunch they over charged him and refused to make it right even argued with him when he asked to see the menu told him they don't have menu thank God I was able to find it online I've never experienced anything like this and shame on this business for doing this to an honest paying customer

I just ordered on Uber eats and got the bogo and a large oxtail. They charged me $26 for the bogo and didn’t even send the second meal! The food is disgusting and inedible. Don’t waste your time.

I have to say how disappointing this restaurant is. I ordered 44.00$ worth of food for breakfast for my husband and daughter & to find a piece of hair in my okra was so nasty, I call restaurant and spoke with the manager Mary she did not care at all she insisted she couldn’t be bothered or deal with this right now. I’ve never had such a service like this!!!! I ordered off of Uber eats she claimed Uber didn’t pay her for my order because she authorized a refund ….to find out from Uber that was a bold face lie that MARY the manager did get paid the 44.00$ she just didn’t want to rectify the situation & give back my refund. I insisted I will bring the food back in to even show you we didn’t not eat this nasty food. But she said no don’t bring it back. So I got no service no food for my 2 year old or my husband nor did I get my refund back so I gave 44.00$ for NOTHING!!! Let that sink in. I ADVISE everyone to STAY AWAY from this SUNRISE them nasty and don’t have no CUSTOMER SERVICE. I realized what kinda people I was dealing with when I read how low their reviews are already that should tell you something. STAY AWAY! A good restaurant service would have refunded me & apologized to me for all the hassle. Wicked people karma will come to you wouldn’t be surprised if the restaurant close down because them too wicked an nasty.

I should’ve left from when my shoes were sticking to the floor when I walked in. They have specials advertised every day, so I can’t figure out how they prepared and charged me for a full priced meal after I walked in and asked for the special. It’s like they don’t even care any more.

This place is so gross. I ordered a curry chicken meal and it didn't taste like curry chicken at all. They need a new chef who specializes in authentic Jamaican cuisine.

This used to be a good place to buy oxtail with peas and rice. The food is not good anymore and tastes like they just reheated it. They don’t give anymore coleslaw and the black lady always on the phone doesn’t even know the price of their food! I paid $50 for my 3 orders!
