I visited this place on 18 Nov 2025. I reside in downtown and usually visit the Sunset Grill at Richmond St. But for the first time I felt my order was value for money. The server who was working at the time was so sweet, warm and welcoming. I requested well done fries and the cook did exactly that! Whoever was the cook/chef that day please give him my hearty gratitude. To the server and the cook/chef, this review would not have been possible without you TWO! My order is by far the BEST cooked ever - and I’ve tried Sunset Grill branches in Brampton, North York, Vaughan etc.
Yes I will drive from downtown Toronto to visit this branch specifically again - it’s an absolute bliss!

Very disappointed to see your store closed before regular hours without any notice or update. Went with my pregnant wife today at 2:15pm and found the store closed. Google shows you are open till 3pm. Isn’t it a harassment for the customer who comes from far and has to return empty stomach?

Hair in food. They got 3 guys in the kitchen with beards and I found 3 little curly hairs in my breakfest poutine. They should really wear a beard net if they plan on cooking in a kitchen and not having Their curly mustache hair as a free add on to my breakfest poutine. I told the server and they continued to make food without a beard net. Hope people realize they are getting a extra serving of mustache in their hollindase sauce.

We just ate here this morning and I have got to say, this place had THE BEST breakfast I have had in a very long time! Everything was fresh from the Lemonade down to the eggs and hash browns and bacon! The staff are truly amazing ladies! They were very friendly and very fast and efficient! I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in that area!!

The best sunset grill we have visited. Service was swift and food was filling!
First time here, 30min for the food to arrive at the table, just 2 kid menus (ordered first)and one avocado toast(ordered 5 minutes later) Their windows have no blinds and we got a table by the window and the sun was too much for my kids, directly at our face or backs, too hot. And no other tables available. Food was okey but anything special. Too much paprika in the potatoes. Waitress was nice. I definitely will not coming back.

The best place to chill on a weekend morning. I've tried most reakfast places if not all and this place just hits right. Staff is extremely warm and its so lovely speaking to each one of them there. You can always ask for your food to be modified a certain way and they will happily do it, no fuss, no attitude just a simple warm cosy environment. After all, its the warmth from the people there that makes you want to come back. This is honestly my favourite weekend spot to visit.My got to order is the french toast with blueberry preserves but everything on the menu is just pure HITTT. The food is always fresh, served hot and the flavours are fantastic. in picture : eggs florentine and grilled cheese sandwich !
