We went on a sunday lunch and it wasnt busy. We were greeted nicely and seated right away.It was a little dark inside with beautiful modern decor, but it is ambiance of this restaurant. The place looked very clean and the washrooms as well. The service was nothing but fantastic. Our server was happy, nice and attentive. They never failed to fill all of our water. She checked on us multiple times and answered all of our questions. Food also came fast.Food had great portions, came piping hot, fresh and plated beautifully. We recieved a complimentary noodle soup on top of our miso and salad. My chicken katsu was bursting with flavors that i could not stop eating it.For the quality and quantity that you get, their food is reasonably priced.Overall this place is great and would come back to try their sushi

Update: I came here after some time to brag to my mother about one of my favourite sushi spots in Toronto… I honestly can’t believe how terrible the food has gotten over the past couple years. The Kalbi used to be fresh and juicy and would come out on a hot sizzling skillet. This time, they were dry, hard and burnt and sitting on a bed of soggy cold cabbage. Just taste stale and like it was thrown on the grill a few times before. That item alone was the most embarrassing part of this dining experience. The shrimp tempura has become sad and unappetizing. The shrimp is now the size of a straw and covered in 5 times the size of batter/panko. Some of the shrimp even had the vein left inside that you could see from underneath the batter. Just awful.I won’t comment on any of the other dishes we had because each was a similar experience, I paid around. All I’ll say is that it was so sad to have an experience like that. I would rather close my doors then serve food like that. After dining here for over 8 years, I’m so disappointed that this was my last experience here.Hands down the most consistent sushi restaurant in GTA in terms of taste and quality. Customer service could use a bit of work especially when servers are taking orders and not making rounds as often as they should be. Nothing more frustrating then seeing your order in the window and no server in sight. Appropriate portions and nicely balanced textures and tastes.

Very good service. Sports bar style restaurant serving sushi. The quality is okay. Their o-toro sashimi slices are thin with the price of $65.95. Standard should be 6mm, but they were about 3mm slices.

The restaurant looks a little bit dark from inside. The food was good but I would say it is average. We ended up paying around $75 dollars for 2 dishes and one bottle of beer.

Went there for dinner on Saturday night with my family and few friends. The waitress was very polite but not very friendly. The food was ok but I have had a lot better sushi with the same price or even less price than here.In general, it was a ok place to go.

As a self proclaimed sushi aficionado , I can firmly say that the sushi is sub par for the price point . Although the presentation is great , the rolls are expensive and small.
