The food is pretty good there and service is reasonably good as well (waiting time is 7-15 minutes)! The cooked foods are the ones that take a bit of waiting time but the food comes out fresh, hot, and delicious. My go to has been the regular tteokboki! As some people say, it is asian spicy, not white spicy ?.It would be a better atmosphere if music was played in the background. Probably k-pop or pop, Korean songs for the sake of the foods culturally made in Korea.

Sushi Q at YorkU is my go-to place for lunch when I’m on campus! If you’re looking for some good Korean food and Japanese food / (lots of sushi) or want to warm up with a bowl of ramen, I’d recommend coming here! I’ve only ordered the ramen dishes and bibimap at this place, but they’re pretty good and priced decently :) Their bibimap is tasty, although, the fried egg is a bit cold, so ask them to make it hot! They only have 3 different ramen dishes: miso, tonkotsu, and shoyu. To be honest, all 3 of them are very similar to each, except the miso ramen broth seems to be more salty and more flavourful while the meat is more fatty. For the shoyu ramen, the broth seems to be more refined and the meat has less fat, as well and similar to Chinese barbecued pork. For the tonkotsu, I couldn’t really find differences, in comparison to the other two, so I’d say just to pick whichever one you want, honestly. They offer either medium ($14 including tax) or large ($15 including tax) size for their ramens, but I’d say to choose size large, instead it’s only a dollar more and you’ll get 3 pieces of meat instead of 2 and a bit more noodles, but again, there is not much difference in terms of the sizing between the medium and large. The service is decent; there’s only 2 employees as far as I know: one Korean woman who I believe is the main chef and then the cashier who will occasionally clean and prepare the order. The wait time would be at most 15-20 minutes if they’re busy, and usually, most people do take-out here rather than dine-in. There is not much seating in the restaurant and it is a bit tight, though, but it’s alright, considering that the store isn’t that big. There is one washroom available for customers though, but I suggest you use the washroom at one of the school buildings before heading into the store. Overall, the staff are pretty friendly and it is relatively good East-Asian food on campus, compared to other locations at YorkU Keele :) In my opinion, it’s way better than Basil Box at the Quad, Thai Express in York Lanes, and the Asian Pop-Up shops within DB & CS!

The food was just okay. You get plastic bowls even if you're dining in so everything goes in the trash. Service was not good.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian option. One item on the menu
