I don’t usually write a review on google, but today, I had a pretty bad experience with Szechuan Express. I ordered the shrimp har gow, and it tasted terrible. The wrapper was hard, like a rock, and it didn’t feel fresh at all—seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time. I was really disappointed, and there was hardly any shrimp inside. I couldn’t even eat it.

Had a great meal at Szechuan in Yorkdale Mall! The place is always spotless, and the food is consistently flavorful. Only downside is when they’re not too busy, the noodles can come out a little cooler than expected. But overall, still a solid spot for tasty Szechuan food! ??

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE... I've always try to give these guys a chance but the food is just not good. The rice is always dry, the chicken is either cooked with too much batter or its unappealing to the point where you don't want to finish your meal. The staff always rush you, and don't seem to comprehend what your trying to tell them... one of the worst Chinese food places in the city..If you want to feel gross after you eat then order from them.. if not go next door Midori is a way better alternative to Asian cuisine.

The line moved quickly and the employee were kind. However the rice was a little dry, the chili chicken was okay, and the honey garlic chicken was dry too. I would maybe try it again.

The proportion for rice is almost 90% for the plate, and meat is tasty. The rice is old, no good place for enjoying.
The staff is worst. The girl at the counter today around 8:30 was so arrogant. The food was also poor. Avoid this place.

Good fried meat items, but the fried rice and noodles basically taste like oiled noddle and rice. They need to fry them better. It has been the second time I have tasted like this. The fried rice needs to have sauce evenly applied, and fried til there is some blackening. It was better before, but now it tastes very blend.
