I drove all the way from Scarborough to Taj Banquet Hall in North York. I was waiting for someone and had ask to use the washroom. The security guard yelled at me and told me to get off the property so I left. I'm not ever going back to that establishment, to be treated like that by someone who is supposed to be and act like a professional. Nothing professional about this behavior at all.

On October 26th, 2020, my family friend had a wedding at this banquet hall. It was the worst experience ever! The owner refused to turn down the heat, which had then caused the wedding cake to melt down! At the end, they refused to give the remainder of the groom's cake that he had paid hundreds of dollars for, and instead, divided amongst his staff of ten ??♀️ I could honestly go on and on but, simply do better!- edited to shorten and fix grammar

The washroom looks and feels like a truck stop dirty broken and overall not replaced you want to be at
Went to a party there, place was spacious and clean, good security at the Moment, it was good

Big dance floor and spaced out nicely. Lots of space to setup for food and can have two lines. Washroom is conveniently located right outside the hall but only one bartender and closed the bar at 11pm. Parking is also limited.

This owner does not value no one's money. He is very rude. He kept trying to charge more money. The owner told my partner that he is not poor and our money meant nothing to him. I wasnt able to set up until 5pm, My event didn't start until after 7pm it was suppose to start at 2pm. Then at 10:30 he came to me and said shut down now or he will pull the plug. He charged an extra 500 just to use his restrooms, that are under construction. Rude is an understatement. Not a good idea to book for persons looking to have any event. He walked around the property counting the person there,he even count the children.He came to me and said if I want to go an extra 30mins its $500 I told him 500 for 30mins?? I remembered him even coming to me during the event asking "where is the rest of my money". I asked him what money he said tax. We never spoke about this in the beginning and I have yet to recieve a receipt for it.I had left my tents in the yard to pick up. When I came back 3 was gone and persons told me he used them for an event the following week.It's alot I can say about this place but I will leave that. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GREEDY MAN
