Really nice cafe and atmosphere. You can grab your favourite brewery and have a stroll in the Edwards Gardens.

Food was great, but the service was terrible. It's the first time we've seen that staff forgot a customer's order, & that's what happened to us. Unbelievable. They forgot that the order was in the oven, what kind of reason was that? We were waiting for about 20 plus minutes never realized food was not coming. The puzzling part, the cafe was not busy, few customers here & there. There's no excuse to forget one's order.

Beautiful location, but the café was a letdown.
I visited after reading great reviews and was looking forward to working from here, but unfortunately, there’s no WiFi. That’s pretty surprising for a café in 2025.

I ordered a decaf with oat milk after seeing all the praise about their coffee, but it was just okay, nothing special. The biggest frustration was the sudden early closing. I had specifically chosen this spot for logistical reasons (which I won’t get into here), and I was told they might close around 3 or 4. Then, out of nowhere, I was told they’d be closing in 8 minutes. This was on a sunny Thursday evening, and their hours on Google said something else.

On my way out, I bought two vegan cookies and was offered a third one for free. Maybe it was a friendly gesture since I communicated to them that I was disappointed. They mentioned that they recently took over that place so hopefully they will get things in order soon!

Overall, while the setting at Edward Gardens is beautiful, my experience as of today wasn’t great. No WiFi, inconsistent hours, and just average coffee.

This is an amazing place perfect place to have tea or coffee with some snacks from the café. It is a place where you can have takeoff ur headphone and relax a bit in thr nature. My personal best is to grab my drink and walk around a bit.

Nestled within beautiful gardens that remain stunning year-round, Bloom Café is a charming spot with a lot of untapped potential. I’m not entirely sure if the café operates seasonally, perhaps only during the warmer months, but its location offers a unique opportunity to embrace the changing seasons more fully.

My son loves it here for the treats like ice cream and the relaxed outdoor patio, complete with stone tables, gentle sounds of nearby fountains, and lovely garden views in every direction. It’s a peaceful and pleasant setting.

However, a few thoughtful updates could really elevate the experience. A fresh coat of paint and some fresh flowers indoors would brighten up the space. While the current menu is simple and appropriate, it could be expanded to reflect its surroundings. Think iced floral teas like orange blossom or rose black tea in the summer, and warm soups with a cozy fireplace in the winter.

There seems to be some indoor seating, and enhancing this space with floral wallpaper or hand-painted botanical art would tie it beautifully to the garden theme. The café doesn’t need to be fancy. Just more intentional in design and offerings. Given its partial location along the Bridle Path and the steady foot traffic through the gardens, it has great potential to become a serene, seasonal retreat.

Reopened for the season under new management - by Daniel & Daniel! Delicious sandwiches (served on plates!), reasonable prices. Not a lot of choice for people who can't eat gluten, but they do have a lovely green salad you can add chicken to. Some nicer seating would be good, but that is likely beyond the control of the cafe management.

Opened 1-2pm for one week during the summer, closed every other weekend

Visited recently and the cafe was super crowded. Took us a good 25 minutes of wait to get our order of coffees which were just ok tasting. And the parking itself is on an hourly basis @4$. So you can imagine.
Apparently, there was something wrong with the machine.
There was no clear indication of where the billing queue starts or where where to wait after the payment is done. The place was chaotic.
But the staff was friendly and polite.

This is a hidden gem at the Toronto botanical gardens - fresh and tasty pastries, great drinks, incredible service especially by Shannon! We're here a few times every summer and her friendly smile, kindness and efficient service keeps us coming back. Highly recommended ?

Last month I and my friend visited Toronto botanical garden and there we came across one small cute cafe named Bloom cafe. We had Verry berry smoothie which was sugar free and freshly blended. My friend had Freshly brewed coffee. In addition, we ordered Spinach pie and a Breakfast cookie. Spinach pie was super tasty and delicious which i liked the most. Breakfast cookie was full of nutrients. They have outdoor dining with silent music which was giving really beautiful vibe.
