We are a very, very long time customers of this company and we get mostly Passion Fruit Green Tea almost every day. In about 50% of drinks I get, one or more things are bad: e.g. either Tapioca is overdone, taste of green tea is nowhere to be found, and/or there is insufficient flavor. There are really a very few guys working at this Yorkdale location that make really good drinks all the time. One of them is Elvis and his coworker, whose drinks are always perfect! Also their service is outstanding. Luckily for us, they often work in the morning shift when we arrive there so we can enjoy a good tea for our money.

For those who enjoy Taiwanese teas and juices, you'll definitely like this store.
The store isn't large; its space is divided into self-service kiosks, a souvenir area with teas and tea-making utensils, and a beverage preparation area.
Most household items are displayed on glass shelves, so if you need something, you'll need to call for service. The prices aren't very affordable.
The drinks take a while to be ready, especially if the store is busy. You might have to wait about 15 minutes, and honestly, there's nothing much different from some stores in the same industry. However, it's worth the experience and trying new products.
Because of the small space, it's a bit difficult to navigate, especially for those in wheelchairs or walkers. Be careful, as the tea boxes are displayed in the aisles.

The tea was fine (pretty standard, not spectacular), but there was a safety incident while we were there that was quite alarming to me.
My mother ordered a hot tea. The employee who served us did not place the lid on properly, and when my mother went to take a sip, the lid slipped off and boiling hot tea splashed onto her arm. Even though she was wearing a sweater, the tea was hot enough to leave a burn on her arm that has blistered. One employee (not the one who had made our tea) did offer us ice, which was greatly appreciated.
I would urge caution if anyone orders a hot tea from here. Make sure the lid is firmly on, and wait a long while before you try and drink it.

When selecting the sugar level in your tea keep in mind that some (maybe all) of the powerders are already mixed with sugar so its not 0% sugar when selecting 0%
My taro tea was extremely sweet so they explained it to me. They did refund my tea though and were very nice.
The matcha tea was tasty.

There are six different places in the mall that sell bubble tea. Two of them are directly across the hallway, and regularly have zero line. That being said, I will still wait in the longest line at Ten Ren if necessary. They have the most delicious teas, the most innovative blends, and the best service in the entire mall. The staff are always upbeat and friendly, and and our service oriented and patient even during the craziest rush times, and despite visiting frequently and often placing large orders, they have not made a single mistake in the year that I've been going there. Wonderful product and wonderful team, thanks guys!

The lady standing at the cashier was extremely rude, pretending not to hear my inquiries, telling me to “just wait” and giving the side eye. I get it we live in a busy world, but please just chill your sass when working. It is literally your job. The ordering machine cannot print receipts: the reason why I was clearly bothering the lady.

Ten Ren has always been my favourite bubble tea place but the staff/management at this location has changed. The strength of the tea tastes much weaker now. The worker didn't want to adjust the sugar/syrup amount. When you ask he gives off an angry attitude like you're asking for a bunch of personal favours from him. People are paying $7-10 for their drinks...not a $1 ice coffee. You need to be a bit more polite and accommodating and if you dislike people that much, go find another job. Don't take it out on the customers who are already over paying. I'm a nurse..you seem like an entitled baby not being able to handle the stress of someone asking to adjust their syrup level. I'm sure business has gone down at this location.
My slush was very icy. Can’t taste much matcha. I would expect more for a 10$ drink

Very rude staff
Kinda mid. Tried the pina colada milk tea which is one of their signature drinks and wasn't too impressed. The taste was ok and it was a little too foamy.
Pricey, mediocre bubble tea… average wait time is like 5 minutes. And the self serve kiosk asked me to tip?? The audacity tsk tsk
Ordered tea with real milk for $7 pre tax. Super pale. Can’t taste tea or milk. Would rather have tap water instead.
green cold tea with lychee, really tasty, now I will buy it more often
