Food was good but service was awful. The employee took my order but left before giving me the receipt. He was busy so I grabbed the receipt myself. The employee was angry that I did that... started saying don't touch receipt... don't touch receipt! You should ask... don't touch. Made the whole experience aweful as other customers were listening anf feeling embaressed...They need to improve on that!

Rice was old and crumbling, They weren't stir fried or properly reheated and tasted extremely stale. Beef did not taste good and portions were really small. It really is just good enough as mall food. A small bowl of bad rice and beef + coke is not worth 20 bucks. The taste alone is not worth 10 bucks. Please stop using old food.

I ordered a chicken, veggie, rice dish. This is not worth $14. Here's the thing. They give so much rice, literally 75% of the plate, Veggies, I literally got 4 pieces of broccoli and 3 pieces of sliced carrot. The rest of the "veggies" are bean sprouts. The chicken I received looks a lot but its not. Its chicken that has been pounded flat so the size is actually stringy and small. The rice was sticky rice but the whole dish just lacked flavour and lack lustre. Its not somewhere I usually go, honestly almost never and now I remember why. Perhaps they do other dishes better, but this one was not worth almost $15 for basically a massive serving of rice.

The chicken and beef teriyaki with rice was so good and filling!Alot of veggies and meat, plus they give you a free springroll.
Amazing food and experience! Was at Fairview mall seeing a client and stopped here for lunch. Simply delicious and due to my dietary requirements they happily obliged and catered to my needs. I’ll be back and recommend this tasty spot to all.

Bland, bland, bland! Ive never tasted food cooked fresh in front of you so unseasoned and bland. Taste liked they washed everything to make it taste like water. I ordered a simple chicken teriyaki and when it was ready she opened it for me and said "do you want teriyaki sauce?" What do you think???I was expecting a hearty flavorful grilled chicken with rice, but what i was served tasted like a Healthy Choice freezer meal. Nothing about it was good. Stick with the Shangai Express option. At least itll be filling.
