First time trying Thai Express and it was a great experience. I asked the person behind the counter what their favourite meal was (Thai Stir Fry) and got that with beef. And a combo.It was the right amount of flavourful, and was cooked with a fire wok — giving it a nice aroma too.The roll was nice and crispy, pairing well with the plum sauce.It did run on the pricey side though for a takeout / fast food spot. For two combos it was $43, hence the star removal.

The worker was kind and the food tasted good except for the little black pan like bits . No plum for the imperial roll and black pan like stuff on food near bottom. Also no receipt, he said it was broken. Pop was also past best before date.

I found some of my rice was not cooked properly. Also the chicken was not crunchy like the pictures. A little on the soggy side. Flavour was good. I understand this is a franchise and they don’t dictate the prices but for $14 there should be more chicken and less cornstarch. Good flavour though. I got the general thairacha. If my chicken wasn’t soggy and rice was cooked a 4 star for sure.
