The service was excellent, but the seafood was terrible. I ordered crawfish, and my friend ordered snow crab. Both were poorly defrosted and cooked, making it feel like a dry sponge texture. We definitely did not get what we paid for.

Such a good spot. First time went to, with 2 other buddies, and the Mateys was more than enough for the 3 of us.We had the seafood fried rice, headless shrimp, chicken slices, with noodles, and friend shrimp.Definitely would try and come to captains boil again.

Amazing experience. Great atmosphere. The different plates of food were all delicious. We chose the Mateo platter, and we (2 people) were so stuffed and had to take some home. The service was friendly, quick and efficient, with the 1st course arriving in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend and will definitely be back for another visit

We had our staff dinner in the small and cozy place. The service was excellent and the quality of food and the portion was great.

Service was ok.Vibe was as usual. But, the taste(sauces or recipe, I cant really tell) was not the same as before. I would not recommend if you expect the same quality of food you had before.

One of the best Cajun style seafood ever. Amazing food. Although service seems slow but they are good in terms of atmosphere. Will visit again. Excellent seafood . Get mild captains boil sauce. If you can't handle too much ? hot. But sauce by itself tastes yummy ?

Went in for dinner today, it was not a good experience with the customer service, especially with the waitress named Vivian ( a little bit chubby girl than the other two girls). She greeted me with an annoyed and unpleasant tone. I asked her what the best and popular deal was for 4 people, she did not help but answered impatiently. While I observed the other waitress who was happy to help out the others when he had difficulty with the menu. I paid almost $200 including tips for 2 lbs of shrimps, 2 lbs of mussels, 1 shrimp basket, 1 fried rice, 1 corn, 1 boiled egg, and 3 slices of garlic bread. If you want us to tip you, you’d better treat us with respect. The food was ok but was pricey. I won’t come back to this location again!

Bad! Not worth it! Horrible taste! I ordered king crab with rice and corn (home sauce) and muscles with shrimp(Cajun sauce) and it was so so horrible I couldn’t eat any!

I went to another The Captains Boil restaurant and didn’t like this location. The customer service was bad…No one would show up for a while… when they served us the crab that we’ve ordered, they didn’t even give us the leg crackers so we had to wait. The food is good but I would recommend going to another location to have a better experience.

This was my first visit there. Different style of eating. I enjoyed the experience. Food was good. I really liked the shrimps. Staff was also amazing and gave us good recommendations.

Just entered the restaurant 1 hour before closing as per their hours of operation and was surprised to hear a server yelling “we are closed, go out”, took a while for me to process the situation. We calmly left the place being absolutely devastated at the behaviour and the customer service. I believe in these hard times we should atleast consider to be polite and kind to other if not anything, Don’t recommend, will never want anyone to be treated the way we got treated, Cheers!

Food is good though not the same as it used to be. Service is quick though never friendly. Don’t go later at night since they don’t seem to welcome customers staying past 9pm even though they’re not busy and they close at 10:30. While they won’t say anything, the passive aggressiveness is obvious. They’ll also turn off the heating in the restaurant to subtly urge their customers to leave. This used to be a great hangout spot with friends, but next time we’ll go somewhere more pleasant.

Straight from the ocean into a bag that's then cooked and dumped on your table is a messy way to eat, despite plastic bibs and gloves. I tried their shrimp - never realized how thin shrimp shells are and how tiny scraps of them get into every bite despite trying to feel them all to get them out. At least everything was cooked properly and good quality, but I won't be back.
