Have been happy customer for this shop for about 15 yrs. Recently, I found out the owner has changed, so was the recipe and quality. I really hope the new owner can stick to the original recipe, supplier and quality control, otherwise we are going to find another shop in GTA.

The dumplings have the thickest skins I have ever eaten, and the leek box filling is very salty, just like Xiao Long Bao. Won't go there again.

Very Disappointed. We’ve visited this place many times before to buy dumplings and steamed buns, and the food was always delicious. We were big fans of this shop. However, in the past few months, we noticed that the staff has changed, and the menu has expanded significantly. Did the ownership change?
We purchased steamed buns again this time, and we ware very disappointed. Not only were they noticeably smaller, but there was hardly any meat inside, and the filling lacked any juiciness. The bun itself was dry, crumbly, and too hard to chew. This was the least enjoyable steamed bun we’ve ever had.
We don’t plan on returning. It feels like the warm, homey atmosphere and quality that used to be here with the previous owners are gone. It’s sad to see such a beloved place lose its charm.

Recently dropped by to pickup some soup dumplings, and I noticed that there are more items for sale. The cashier confirmed that there's new ownership. Service is better, but the skins of the dumplings are thicker. Still good though.

Let me say that this store was a huuuuge and pleasant surprise for me and my wife! I bought from here the BEST steamed (?) BUNS in the GTA! I appreciated a lot the veggies buns, nicely made and you can feel with how much knowledge the owner who is a lady, (she is the cook as well), she makes them with accuracy and precision! Each and every time, she brings the best results and I appreciated the fact that the bakery is SUPER CLEAN and well organized, even if the owner is not so concerned to be very friendly, but you are not going there to socialize with her, she is non stop busy doing absolutely amazing nice steamed buns! In my opinion, you cannot find better veggie buns better than here in the GTA.
Vegetarian options: The fact that they are offering vegetarian buns, made with that lovely diced cabbage, made me to decide to become one of their clients
Parking: The bakery is conveniently located in an area close toe RONA

This is a very bad store. The store claims to be Shanghainese food, but when I greeted the hostess friendly in Shanghainese, I received a very rude response and was scolded for ordering in Mandarin. I bought xiaolongbao and potstickers and went back, only to find hair and unknown things inside. I can only throw away the food, I will not go there again, and I will remind my friends not to go.

Pretty good dumplings for a pretty good price. Steamed ones are best, but fried and soup dumplings are good too.Didn't meet this famously rude lady, but the upper middle aged man was very pleasant.
