Simply delightful
We were starving all day and had high expectations for this restaurant, but it was honestly a huge disappointment.
The pasta was extremely watery, and the sauce was almost tasteless. The mushrooms tasted like plain white mushrooms—no hint of truffle at all.
The pizza was even worse: soaked in watery tomato sauce, topped with a lump of burrata that had zero creaminess or flavor.
The worst dish of all was the appetizer called Spicy Sprouts—it was absurdly oily, like drinking oil.
The short rib fried rice was overly sweet and not great either, but it was the only thing that was somewhat edible.
They also charged $3 for a side of chili sauce that was nothing but oil—not spicy, not flavorful, just pointless.
Really disappointed. Would not recommend at all.
Visited on the weekend and was very impressed by the menu.
Cozy Restaurant, great service and delicious food, what more can you ask for… Must try the pizza!
Poor service
Honestly, had sticker shock when the bill arrived. Maybe I’m old? $80: two pizzas, fries, Diet Coke, a scoop of sorbet - nearly $100 after tip - FOR LUNCH.
Service was fine, bare minimum in terms of hitting steps of service and overall hospitality. Food was good and served hot, fries were particularly excellent.
Paige is amazing! Great recommendations of food. We took one of our colleagues for 20 years work anniversary. She got raspberry ice cream for us!
Came on a bustling Sunday and was pleasantly surprised! I can't believe I've never been here after so many years of visiting the shops at don mills! I even had the pleasure of meeting JO the GM who was extremely hospitable and took me on a tour of their very extensive wine list. She suggested I get the bulgogi, vodka pasta with shrimp and sourdough, and wow was she right! It was the best meel ever and had me salivating from the first bite to the last.
I definitely will be back! Also shout out to the very polite host at the front who seemed to be running a tight ship, he was handling all the guests like a pro!

The dough of the pizza is great! I just wished the fried calamari plate, the margarita, and the dark and stormy drink wer a little bit bigger. The staff is charming and sweet. Great hosts. Pizza is like Eataly's! Awesome, feels legit Italian. Check out my pictures.
Vegetarian options: Yup they got vegetarian options here with the gluten free and everythang
Dietary restrictions: You can get vegan stuff here
Parking: Mall parking so depending on the time and day, you may have to fight for parking or wait for parking
Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly, though it feels more appropriate for adults and dates. No kids menu but kids can totally eat their food.
Wheelchair accessibility: You can squeeze in a wheelchair for sure. Better accessibility than most places but not necessarily super comfortable for a wheelchair

The food was great, but the service was so annoying. We had three different servers ask us how our food was multiple times. We couldn’t even talk to each other because we were constantly interrupted. Attentiveness is one thing, but annoying is another. Would only come back for the food if I was going with people, I didn’t care to talk to.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered a pizza (Carnivora) and salad (peach salad). Both very delicious, however, really wished it took less than 30 mins to arrive at our table. The restaurant didn’t seem busy and the people beside us who arrived after us still got our meals before us, with no explanation of the delay along the way.

Great compared to other shops at Don Mills options, but still not an “experience”. - the appetizers we got were great - especially the spicy Brussels sprouts - the mushroom tagliatelle I got was nothing special. It was busy - almost full with some reserved tables - at 6 PM on Saturday.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian pizzas, two veggie pastas, several veggie apps.

This place is a joke i ordered a margarita from Uber eats and the nerve on this place because it was close to closing they didn’t even cook the pizza the cheese isn sliced and not even cooked they added sliced cheese on top of cooked pizza dough. You guys are a JOKE
The food is consistently great, and the service is always attentive and friendly! The atmosphere here is also great, whether you’re here for a date night or with a larger group. The only negative I found is that for some of the dishes the portions are small given the price. Still a great place to visit for quality food and friendly service!

Giving 4 stars because it's grossly overpriced for decent food.
