I ordered Oxtails with Gravy. I paid for tough bread, warm cola, bones, and spicy gravy. The Oxtails were all very small and there were more bones than there was meat. I was unaware that the small amount of meat and the gravy would be spicy. The bread was tough and old, and apparently, they don't refrigerate the cokes. Would not recommend.

As a customer, I don’t memorize all the food and I need some time to figure what to order. The approach very rude, when I can my family to clarify what order they like, she’s very upset. I asked her to place another order and for some reason she didn’t hear me and don’t include on my current order. I can place another order if that’s her issue, I have money to pay, but with her behaviour like that, I can’t. She’s rude!!! She should not work in food industry if she behaves like that. I asked her if she wants to serve me and she said no so I left the place. What a day!
I won’t recommend this place, If you’re looking for Carribeann foods , try other places which serves your better and nicer.

I used to go here all the time with my brothers for some good quality Caribbean food. Seems they have gotten more popular now so the quality of the food and the size of the portions have gone down and the prices have gone up. Last time I ordered the fried chicken was still pink in the middle, there was no stew chicken and no oxtail gravy and I had to wait for dumplins to be made, I was so disappointed when I got home, I didnt even waste time and complain or ask for a refund I decided to just stop coming, you have lost a loyal customer.

Amazing flavour, affordable and great portions!

Charged $19.12 for stew chicken which was covered with BBQ sauce. It was not freshly prepared. We know the times are tough but the portion sizes have been reduced significantly. Used to be a good spot to eat before it changed hands.

Jerk Sandwich!! Small portion for 8.50 after tax. No upsell when asked about popular items and Food Court has bad phone reception.

AMAZING & AUTHENTIC CARIBBEAN FOOD! I RECENTLY ORDERED SOME CATERING FOR OUR OFFICE. JERK CHICKEN HAS A NICE SPICY KICK, JUICY & FULL OF FLAVOUR. RICE AND PEAS - NICELY COOKED, CANT MESS THAT UP. BBQ CHICKEN WAS A CROWD FAVOURITE - CHKN WAS JUICY, FLAVOURS SO INTENSE BUT NOT OVERPOWERING. WE ALSO HAD THEIR HOUSEMADE COLESLAW, CURRY CHICKPEAS, AND CALLALOO. FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT CALLALOO IS - ITS A JAMAICAN STYLE SPINNACH STEW OR SAUTEED SPINNACH. SO DELICIOUS, I CANNOT BELIEVE IVE SKIPPED THIS DISH EVERY TIME IVE EVER CAME ACROSS IT! OVERALL, FOOD IS ALWAYS GREAT! COOKED W.LOVE & YOU CAN DEFINITELY TASTE IT!

I've recently ordered from the Islands through there catering service and it was quick and easy. The food was divered to my home within the exact 15 mins window I chose. The food was still hot and fresh. I'd recommend there Stew Chicken, and BBQ chicken, the salad was very fresh. Overall I was very happy and would highly recommend the Islands Caribbean Cookshop.

So yummy, they have guilty pleasure options (love the fried chicken!) and also healthy veggie options, and the staff are usually really good (though it get's a little hectic in there sometimes because its so busy). Highly recommend!

I had this tonight for dinner after hemming and hawing for literally years lol. I wish i tried them sooner.
I ordered the small mixed? Chicken meal and tried their fried chicken and jerk chicken. I got plain rice with chicken curry gravy and a side salad.
The fried chicken was great! So well seasoned and delicious. Nice crunchy skin too! The jerk chicken was beautiful. It was smoky and well seasoned too. I am in love.
Everything was flavorful and delicious. Next time, i need to try their house made scotch bonnet pepper sauce and oxtail!
The portions are big. I had leftovers!
The server was really friendly and helpful. Its shocking to me that small businesses now charge less than fast food. ?
If u guys r ever in the neighborhood, they r right next to popeyes. Eat here instead!!
