The casual ambience certainly brings me a sense of nostalgia, on top of the bowl of Bun Cha Ca featuring a light tomato-based broth with a thicker rice noodle that has more chew than traditional pho noodles. The standouts are the fried fish cakes, bouncy and fragrant with dill, adding a delightful texture and bite of umami. The beef in betel leaf, salmon filet, a generous portion of fresh dill, elephant ear stalk, tomatoes, water celery, cilantro, scallions and fried onions create a symphony of flavours and aromas. If that isn't enough, you can customize each bite with a side of bean sprouts, lettuce, banana blossom, chilis, cabbage and lime.
Their sticky rice dumplings are a layered experience, first the glutinous sticky rice, with a layer of mochi underneath, encompassing a fragrant filling of mung beans and minced pork seasoned with some black pepper.

Strange to be sitting in a shop among piles of imported goods, but heard good things about the soups so we came to try the cha ca, bun mam, and banh cuon. All were very flavorful and delicious. Banh cuon rolls are very smooth. They served pandan tea which was nice. The ladies working there were very welcoming and kind, though a bit overwhelmed by many people coming in and out. I'm surprised there were a lot of people buying stuff because I found a lot of items to be very expensive. The food was not expensive though. I would come back for the cha ca and banh cuon.

I saw a tiktok of this restaurant and definitely had to check it out myself,The shop itself sells plenty of dried Viet goods that you rarely find elsewhere. There is a selective menu but Thuy Restaurant is known for their Bun Cha Ca, it was so homey and warming, it was so good!!Also got their shrimp fried rice, and fresh sugar cane juice. We were served and waited on by Thuy herself, she is so sweet and truly humble about her foodCan't wait to try the rest of the menu
Parking: The restaurant is part of a huge plaza that offers plenty of free parking

A small yet quite well-prepared meal. We always have plenty to take home and always get one of each. Plenty of options for dry goods and groceries. It's simply a mother and daughter running the place, but business has been difficult due to COVID and traffic construction. The space might use some cleaning.

My go-to place for Vietnamese snacks.
Great place for a hot bowl of noodles. The fish cake is the best hands down.

Food is really good, I had Banh Xeo and I like how they made Cane Sugar Juice, It was not really sweet. In some place, they make real sweet Cane Sugar JuiceBun Mam is not my fan but I tried it, it is fresh and sweet soup
Small but incredibly well executed menu of dishes. We always get one of each and have plenty to take home. Lots of groceries and dry goods to choose from as well. The space could use some cleaning but business has been challenging with covid and traffic construction, so it's just the mom and daughter running the place.

Restaurantji Recommends
One of the best Bún cá in GTA area
Delicious. Food and experience is as authentic as it can get.
Good service and good price. Food very delicious
Recommended by our son's Vietnamese friend. Price was reasonable with huge portion. They offer authentic Vietnamese soup noodles and rice plate. Not recommend the Spring roll. The Spring roll was huge but in bad shapes. They taste different from other Vietnamese restaurants.
The place is quite small. However, the food is great, owner is supper friendly. They also selling a sea of Vietnamese snack which’s cost me a lot whenever I coming.
