Chubby lady was unfriendly, could smell the laziness a mile away.
Basically what happened, I ordered a plain croissant, friendly smile out the window, asked to warm it up, said it doesn't work, so I said that's okay, and paid with tab. Asked for a peanut butter 3 times for her to understand, had to do a spread gesture for her to understand, said she has to charge me for it, made me tap again for $0.60. Then asked some who is working at the back doing her thing to give me a peanut butter.
Zero service. I get that she is XXL and problem moving but least she could do was be friendly.
Rest of staff looked friendly.
As many other comments have said, the larger white lady is incredibly rude. I get that it's early in the morning and you work at a Tim Hortons, but you don't need to speak so rudely to people. Especially students! We're just trying not to kill ourselves with school and simply need a caffeine boost. So go easy.
They will gladly take your mobile order money for items they do not sell and then never tell you until you ask.

6 people working and can’t even make simple orders
I ordered a MEDIUM double double and took out on my way back home. I did NOT even take a sip, as I live 2 mins away from this location of tim hortons, and upon reaching home when I felt like taking a sip i noticed that the cup feels way lighter. Then i opened the lid and this what I saw. I paid the full amount for medium and I get THIS quantity?! Shame on the people working there. I remember the faces of the two girls working at that time, I didn’t pay notice to their names, otherwise would’ve mentioned it here.
Staff is rude. Like it wasn’t even busy but they were very rude while talking order. No sense of customer service. Otherwise the service was quick. Also the dine in tables are were nasty.

Very rude behaviour
Once I was done ordering at the counter, I was not handed my receipt (which has my order number on it). I then waited for 15 minutes at the counter where they hand you your food, I then asked one of the employee who is making the food as to why my order number has not yet been called. She then said that my number has been called but someone might have took my order. I then asked her to remake my order but she refuse. I felt like I am not in the wrong here and that I should’ve been compensated since I already paid for my order. It was a 5 dollars wrap btw. I was very upset afterward.

I biught a $100 guft card from a tim hirtons in north york. I asked them to look into a cashier who may have made a mistake with taking $100 gift card and they said they couldn't. Then I called the tim card number and they said the customer service line supposed to find the card. Customer service said the store supposed to find the card. Between 3 phone numbers and 1 store everyone claimed the school administration whom the card was for stole the card and gave me back an empty card, but none would investigate the employee who stole from me who worked here.

I have never had such bad service at a Tim Hortons than at this one. I was in line and approached a cash register with a lady that I thought would take my order but she walked away from me so I waited for another cashier to be ready but at that point someone else got in line. I was going to let him go first but the rude lady (with black hair) turned to me and said "whoever can go" in a nasty tone and rolled her eyes at me. This is not the first rude encounter that I had at this Tim Hortons. Another time my friend ordered a cookie from them and after ten minutes of waiting asked where it was and a lady responded saying "we've been calling your order for the last twenty minutes sweetie" in a tone that was condescending and not at all kind. I will not be retuning to this location and I advise anyone who goes to York to avoid going as well if you can because of the horrible service.

The fat white lady with black hair that works the cash is awful, she is so disgustingly rude and actually ruins my morning every time the only reason people go there is because it’s the only Tim Hortons with sándwiches at the school, she is an awful human being and I never heard her once be nice to anyone

Listened to Maddie yell at an employee this morning because she thought he faked having a surgery (he couldn’t lift the boxes that got delivered) and she talked about demanding to see the scar “as proof”. ??? How has this lady not been fired yet, or been buried in OSHA/workplace harassment suits ?

Maddy/maddie the cashier everyone in the comments is complaining about needs to be fired. She started mocking my english as I was placing my order mind you I am South Asian but I was born and raised in this country. If my english is the issue the Canadian education system needs to be re-evaluated. Anyways I just found it funny because she said I don’t know how to place an order. I’ve worked at timmies for 4 years in highschool Maddie I think you’re the one that simply does not know how to take an order. Ur customer service skills give me more crippling depression than exam season. Like seriously this girl’s miserable you can be nice try making small talk with her she’ll still hand you a double double without sugar and tell you “NEXT” “HURRY UP YOUR HOLDING UP THE LINE ????”
