On August 8, 2025, at 6:13 PM, I ordered a medium double-double coffee at this store using scan and pay. I was charged $41.92 instead of $1.92. I only noticed the overcharge the following day, so I went to the store and spoke with the employees. They told me the same issue had happened to other customers due to problems with the scan and pay system, and they assured me it would be refunded. However, I’m still waiting and nothing has been returned yet.

At that time, they also asked me to come back again on a weekday between morning and 3 PM to meet the manager. Since I work until 5 PM, this is not possible for me. Am I really expected to take time off work just to receive a refund for an overcharge? That doesn’t seem reasonable.
