Toronto Don Valley Hotel & Suites

Location is good

Disgusting, filthy, unable to stay. Health hazard. Room not cleaned at all. Bathroom dirty. Bugs in the room. I can’t believe how this hotel went downhill so fast. Manager refused to call me back. Need I say more!

We checked in and within minutes the toilet overflowed soaking the floor and carpet outside the bathroom. I called numerous times and no one came or answered. I had to run down from the 5th floor to get their attention, only to find them joking and on their phones. House keeping came and she was amazing. The next day we told the concierge the floor was still wet, with toilet water I might add. He stated it will dry, when I asked about switching rooms they stated that they won't. So we had a soaked floor for days. The AC didn't work and parts of the room had water damage to the walls and ceiling.

Wasted 1000.00$ staying there. Don't waste your time or money. Only good thing was it was close to the hwy and a couple of fast food places.

Great location in North York right in the 34a bus line. The mall is only 25min way on the bus line and it's got lots of shops and take way places. An 50min bus ride to union station. Clean rooms with soft beds. The provided soaps are really nice.

Avoid at all costs — this place is a health hazard.
This hotel is absolutely disgusting and has gone completely downhill. I had to switch rooms three times because each one reeked of mold. The final room was just as filthy — stained walls, holes in the drywall, thick layers of dust, cobwebs, torn dirty finishings and sheets with black stains on them. It’s shocking that this place is still open especially trying to cater to families with small children.

I ended up leaving after realizing the entire property is in the same unsanitary condition. Despite informing staff and requesting a refund through Expedia, the hotel refused to take any responsibility. Save yourself the stress and stay literally anywhere else — this place should be inspected and shut down until it’s cleaned properly.

It was nice to find a hotel in Toronto with a balcony to have a coffee on. The staff here was extremely accommodating, pulled everything they could to make sure u had a bed to sleep on and put in a huge effort to get me in the room earlier then I was supposed to. I’m very grateful to the staff here, wonderful hard working people. Thank you staff of Toronto valley hotel and suites.

Not very happy, didn't realize that the pictures on the site are completely different, or should I say this place needs a facelift. Carpeted rooms, not good. We overlooked the roof, we were on 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable. And I guess what really disappointed me, and grossed me out, was the cockroach I saw crawl across the bedside table while I was having my morning coffee. That was enough. I was so disgusted. Never again.

We chose this hotel because of its convenient location close to all the amenities, and it did not disappoint! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us was the pool—it was exceptionally clean and provided a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

They charged me $100 to park my car without telling me. I definitely do not recommend going there. The service is very bad. The rooms smell terrible. Do not go to this hotel.

Staff was very very helpful. Checking was seamless and the rooms were exactly as advertised and as pictures showed on website. Very convenient location just off expressway and close to 401. Hotel is bit older and dated, this did not negatively affect my stay.

I booked this hotel with a king bed and the room came up with a twin bed, the customer service along even with the managment a horrible experience, it look like this hotel in a rural area with no professional experience, therefore I will not recommend this hotel with the price they have and with the poor service.

Booked room with 2 double beds for senior aunt and dad (in town for funeral). Given room w 1 king. Hotel didn't take accountability for error nor did they make any effort to rectify.
