Wakame Sushi Weston was the kind of place that made dining feel like a full experience — bright, bustling, and perfect for groups who want to linger over plates of sushi and sip on something refreshing. The vibe was casual and welcoming, but with just enough flair to make a weeknight dinner feel like an occasion.
Their new Milk Tea Bar added a fun twist to the meal. The Original Milk Tea with Pearls was creamy and smooth, with perfectly chewy tapioca — a refreshing surprise in a spot best known for sushi. It felt like the kind of add-on that made you want to extend dinner just a little longer, chatting and sipping.
Of course, the food itself carried the show. The AYCE menu was stacked with options: endless rolls, fresh sashimi, and all the Japanese staples you’d expect. But the promos made it even better — the snow crab was meaty and tender, a real standout, while the Fanny Bay oysters were plump, briny, and served fresh.
This was more than just an AYCE dinner; it was a lively evening out where food kept arriving, drinks kept flowing, and the new milk tea counter gave it all a playful, modern spin. For sushi lovers looking to add a little variety to the routine, Wakame Weston delivered big time.

Hands down one of the Best Sushi places around and I have tried many all you can eat spots in Toronto but this place takes the cake from the quality of food to the respect and details when it comes to customer service. The main gentleman is such a amazing person. Plenty of parking outside would differently recommend!!

Really yummy a la carte options and simple system of ordering. Have a very wide selection of foods and good portions when ordering a la carte (the soup was huge!). Seafood was fresh and tasty and the beef dishes were so tender and flavourful.

Best Sushi Place 🍣. I have been going here for years.
Had dinner at Wakame Sushi with a friend and really enjoyed it! The sushi was super fresh and the $10 oyster deal is such a steal. The food feels more premium than your usual all-you-can-eat spots. We also had Sapporo beer — it paired perfectly. Great vibe and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
Not only did I find something in my food that clearly doesn’t belong there, but the staff also showed zero attention to the customer area. Every time I tried to call a waiter, they would deliberately avoid me. It was extremely disappointing and unprofessional
They have delicious food here. Love the ambiance, staff are friendly, nice interior too. The food is fresh and really yummy.
Every single dish was delicious, delicious, delicious — bursting with flavor and freshness. Honestly, they served the best miso soup I’ve ever had in my entire life.
The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. The service was lovely — especially the female staff, who were so kind, friendly, and helpful. The place was calm, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean.
Definitely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had!
We came by to this place after anime north
I would definitely recommend this ayce!

Tried this spot for the first time and we were seriously impressed. The sashimi was super fresh, including actual red tuna which you don’t usually find at all you can eat places anymore. They even had proper snow crab legs, not the cheap stuff.
Everything was clean, fast, and tasted the way it’s supposed to. The place looks good inside, the vibe was easygoing, and the servers were on point. Parking was smooth and the location was easy to get to.
Definitely planning to come back and bring the rest of the family. This place deserves way better reviews than it’s getting. Real quality here.
Always great dishes
Not sure why our ordered food looked nothing like the images on the order page. See the photos attached. This is the crunchy BBQ spicy salmon skin roll. There’s no salmon. Just skin.

If you’re looking for AYCE sushi, the prices are quite affordable here! The sashimi is fresh and there’s many rolls too choose from. There’s also Chinese food like dim sum and fried rice to order here too. All the food comes out very quickly after ordering. The prices for Monday to Thursday is cheaper than Friday to Sunday. Lunch is also cheaper than dinners. They also offer a-la-carte option if you are not feeling ayce.

Had a disturbing experience at Wakame Sushi in Weston which I am sharing so other diners can be on guard and defer to onsite surveillance cameras if necessary. Went on Monday Dec 30th around 7 pm for my Mom’s 80th birthday. We ordered 3 Bento boxes and a calamari appetizer. Very straight forward order and hardly anyone in the restaurant – maybe 3 or 4 other tables who were doing all you can eat. A gentleman who seemed to be supervising the dining floor told us if we placed the electronic order on same bill we would get a specific item for free – some sort of fried wonton. When it came time to pay and we were packing up our leftovers we realized we never got this item. When we mentioned it to the man, he said we did get it – even though he wasn’t the one who served us any of our food or drinks. Two other non verbal, no eye contact waitresses brought the food at different times. When we assured him we didn’t receive this item he insisted we did and started speaking to one of the waitresses who had her back to us but was basically shouting like a fishmonger in a Marrakesh market. Again, staff insisted we got the item and we repeated that we did not and there was no logical reason not to believe us. We were a small group and we all had bento boxes – not all you can eat. We aren’t confused about what arrived on the table when it was a fixed order served in partitioned boxes. I suspect the calamari appetizer arrival was being confused for the wontons while at the same time staff were bringing out individuals plates to different tables doing AYCE. Incredulously, the staff kept insisting they brought the food but no one spoke to the 2nd waitress who served us our salad soup, sushi and the appetizer. He only spoke to the waitress who brought the Bento boxes. At this point I left because I could tell something was very bizarre about this entire situation, but my brother and mother stayed behind. Staff then brought out a plate of the cheese wontons to show what they looked like and continued to insist we received and ate this dish. I know mistakes happen but there needs to be a better system if this type of escalation can happen when the restaurant is not busy and they are serving all you can eat sushi. In hindsight, we should have removed our tip and insisted they call a manager to review the surveillance video plus interview the 2nd waitress to resolve this issue. We were not charged for the item and we don’t care about a free appetizer. We didn’t even finish our Bento boxes so it wasn’t about needing more food. But the dynamic with this particular aggressive waitress and how the staff managed this incident was baffling. Please be mindful when dining here and pay attention to any inconsistencies and rely on the cameras if it comes down to that. We have eaten here several times before but not recently-over a year. I don’t know if there has been a change in management, but it is unfortunate because there are not a lot of restaurants in Weston so it is sad when you have to cross a place off your list. One day this restaurant is going to pull this stunt on the wrong customer – I would love to be a fly on the wall when that day comes but we will never come back here again no matter how much we are craving Sushi. If anyone else knows of any other good recommendations in the area, I would welcome some leads. There is an amazing Sushi place on Royal York (Lan Sushi run by lovely Japanese couple) but it is take out only.
