I brought a couple of friends for lunch and how disappointing it was. We were asked fine or take out and then they have placed our orders in a take out container and delivered to our table.. without plates and proper cutlery. We have to beg for plates and finally got them. Then we ordered halo halo and they forgot about it until I asked what happened to our order. Anyway we spent about $200 for 3 people, it was horrible. Will never go back.

We happened to pass by this place. The style is a carinderia (turo turo or point by your finger) style (a type of eatery in the Philippines wherein the food are already cooked and you point which food you want).Since the food is already pre cooked, when served its already room temp. The lechon Kawali looks good but it was chewy (instead of crunchy).I guess this is what happens when its pre cooked. The chicken inasal is also room temp instead of being warm.

Overall, I say the place is ok if you do miss eating in a Filipino resto setting. The owners and staff are nice and lively.

Is it a bang for a buck?I can't say cause I've tried other places that are better.

I bought their pork barbeque and noodles at Harbourfront during the Taiwanese festival, for $13 plus tax. Wish I had taken a photo of it to show the portion size; there was more skin and fat than pork, and the meat was severely oversalted. The noodles were broken up into small pieces anbout 1 to 2 inches long, and were difficult to pick up with the wooden fork that was supplied.
When I asked the server to give me less skin, she told me it was good for me. I gave some to the dog and threw the rest out. The pork itself was a little bit dry, and if it hadn’t been over salted, it probably would’ve been pretty good. I counteracted the saltiness by putting on some sweet chilli sauce, which made it tolerable. I wouldn’t eat their food again.

Longanisa and lechon special. What you see below is what we got and for $45. Sausage was tiny, dry and unseasoned just like the garlic rice which was an extra cost. The lechon was honestly pretty good but seriously where is the rest of it? No pickled onions, tomatoes, even the egg? Seems incomplete and extremely expensive for what is essentially a bowl of rice and some meat. They also got the order wrong when we asked for the pancit over spring rolls. Disappointed in a heavily hyped place.

Order theough tgtg app. She was more concerned with answering the phones and didn't change the gloves after touching the phone. Just imagine if someone came out of the washroom and didn't wash their hands, just to hurry over to the conter to uses the phone. This was the reason why I was getting annoyed with the lady

I had been looking forward to dining at this restaurant all week, especially excited to try the pork BBQ and authentic pork lechon. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.

The restaurant appears to cater more to takeout than dine-in customers. When we arrived, we placed our order at the cashier and opted to dine in. After seating ourselves, our food was brought to us without any utensils or napkins. I had to get up and retrieve disposable cutlery and paper towels, which were oddly placed on top of a garbage bin. Next to it was a sign that read, “Please clean up after yourself,” which caught me off guard particularly because the debit machine prompted us for a tip during payment.

The food presentation was underwhelming. The pork lechon, which I had high hopes for, was not crispy at all. The skin was chewy, as if it had been reheated or had been sitting out for too long. While the meat itself was flavourful, the lack of crispy skin a defining feature of good lechon made the dish disappointing overall.

The pork BBQ looked promising but tasted bland. It lacked the signature sweet and savory flavor typically associated with Filipino-style BBQ. It seemed the meat may not have been marinated long enough, as the flavor didn’t penetrate beyond the surface.

The chop suey was also a miss. The carrots were cut extremely thick, making them difficult to chew and clearly undercooked. We joked about it at the table, but it was another sign of the rushed preparation.

The dining atmosphere left much to be desired. Staff members were chatting loudly with visiting friends, creating a noisy and chaotic environment. One employee was even coughing at the counter where food was being prepared. The decor was equally disjointed Christmas decorations still up in August and an abundance of Bible quote wall art made the space feel more like a church hall than a restaurant. There was a ton of things crammed in a small space.

To be fair, the pork belly lechon on display did look promising, but we didn’t try it during this visit. Still, based on this experience, I wouldn’t return to give it another chance.

The visit was quite disappointing and felt more suited to a quick takeout stop than a sit-down dining experience. For the price you pay the value and overall experience just weren’t there.

Visited on a Saturday and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish.

I ordered the pork BBQ, which lacked flavor and was quite mediocre. The chop suey was another letdown — the vegetables, especially the carrots, were noticeably undercooked, making the dish unpleasant to eat. As for the lechon, which I expected to be the highlight, the skin was supposed to be crispy but arrived soft and far from the quality advertised.

To make matters worse, the dining environment was far from welcoming. There were flies around the food area, and the staff were excessively loud, shouting back and forth as if they were in someone’s backyard rather than a restaurant. The overall atmosphere felt chaotic and unhygienic.

Sadly, this place did not meet even basic expectations for food or service. I would strongly suggest avoiding it.

I love to eat my food especially pilipino food, i'm sorry the bbq is not good as it was. There is too much fat on each stick less meat to sweet and price is too much. I ordered the halo halo and what did I get ice and milk , the ingredient is like 4 or 5 pieces It did not taste halo halo i'm so disappointed. the food and the ambience inside the restaurant It's too hot. Maybe because of the grilling from the barbecue from outside. Maybe you need to compare your price from the other store you are overprising Will not recommend this restaurant at all.

We order chicken inasal combo, the chicken were so dry, it’s obvious that it was reheated more than twice, the lumpia were so dry as well… we ordered liempo, it was dry too and no crunch and very chewy… quite disappointed coz it was not cheap… I want to support Filipino restaurant business but they should grill the chicken as you order so it’s juicy and not very dry.

Just had an amazing time with the family at Wilson’s House of Lechon here in Toronto! 🐷🔥

What I love most is that they grill the lechon right in front of you — you can actually see it sizzling and getting all crispy. And let me tell you, that skin? Perfectly crispy. Especially on the weekends — they do all-you-can-eat lechon, and yup… my lechon craving is finally satisfied 😌💯

If you’re ever in Toronto, do yourself a favor and check out Wilson’s House of Lechon. You won’t be disappointed — and the staff? Super friendly and welcoming. Felt like we were right at home.
