I walked in today and the lady is sitting at the table at the back and greets me to start making my food without washing her hands and then Sammy is on his phone and making my food without washing his hands. 50 years in business and this is the service you give your customers that have been loyal to your business for so many years. This is terrible.

Nostalgic for me. Service was excellent! Food was okay.
I got a corned beef sandwich on rye with potato salad and a pickle. Corned beef was super tender, sliced thin and piled high. The hot mustard had a nice kick to it that went perfectly with the rich meat. Both of the workers were very friendly and welcoming, and clearly had a lot of pride in their restaurant. While I had my sandwich, several other customers came in and were greeted warmly. I could tell that this is a local favorite for a good reason. If I lived in the area, I would be stopping by regularly.
Very good food, it is expensive, but anything that is good and tasty usually is. A while ago I went to a similar place serving the same thing in Scarborough called Sumilicious. There food was expensive too but their food and service was no where close to Wolfies. If I am going to pay a high price for my meal, I would go to Wolfies where I get what I paid for. Keep it up

I mean, wow. I’m having trouble to find the right words.
The smoked meat sandwich has me floored, the closest comparison is Katz’s Deli in New York (yes, that one), but I’d argue the thinly sliced meat here is a little more my style, and the bread here is definitely better.
The double slice of extra thin soft pillowy rye absolutely blew me away. The meat is amazing and the bread is somehow just as good if not better.
I asked for honey mustard which compliments it perfectly, but I think I’ll go with hot mustard next time.
Then the decor. If you’re a fan of Coca Cola, it’s almost like walking into a tiny Coca Cola museum. So much memorabilia and old advertisements, it’s a joy to just look around (I’m biased since I’m a giant Coca Cola fan).
And the friendly greeting as I walked in, as well as the lightning fast service was impressive.
I had my menu within 30 seconds, my drink within 2 minutes, and all my food within 5 minutes.
This place should have a Michelin star or two. I’d say two because it’s worth going out of your way for. Call me crazy but I’m not even joking.
To the owners, don’t change a thing! But I’m sure you know that, there’s a reason this place has been around 50 years.

Nice but sandwich was small for the price, so it was expensive. After I received a reply from owner , accusing me of lying , because imo there food is expensive, how pathetic. This is what they resort to when they don't like peoples opinions, wow, I just posted my honest opinion, maybe you should look inwards and not attack people for being honest. There are many options out there, I suggest people try those first Lost my business and funny how life works, even though I posted my honest opinion didn't say it was bad, just expensive, I was going to back with a big group so they could make up there own minds, well that ain't gonna happen. Swings and roundabouts, that's how the world works.
Was rudely stopped while walking into the establishment. It was like I did something wrong for stepping into the restaurant to check out the establishment and what they offered in the menu. Very rude greeting from the gentleman with glasses. I felt so awkward that I didn’t even want to give the place a chance anymore.
Paper plates, plastic forks and food that is under no circumstances 'fresh'. Fries dropping in oil and the coleslaw was at best a day old.
What's worse is the place is filthy. Don't eat here if you value your taste buds.

Have always heard about Wolfies and finally got to check it out. Great smoked meat sandwich!? Grabbed some to go as well. Super friendly service with a smile and jokes. And had to get a coke in a bottle to complete the lunch. Will definitely be back
