Just moved from Thornhill so maybe I’ma sushi snob but this place is not good. Fish was not fresh and low quality. I struggled the get through my sashimi dinner. Salad was overdressed, miso soup was weak and sashimi was dry and tough. I’m actually baffled by some of the reviews suggesting this is a good sushi spot. I expected so much more from reading other people’s reviews but was sadly disappointed. Service was fine and restaurant was clean. To top it off, it was pricey… Sashimi dinner for 1, no drinks, $35 :/

I rarely give out a bad review unless it's really warranted. I gone in to pick up my order today after the online recommended pick up time. The lady behind the counter looked to be in a bad mood, anyways she didn't offer me any service until I interjected to what she was doing, this was after 4 mins of me just there in front of the counter. She didn't give me any acknowledgement after I described my order and quoted the order number. Afterwards, she told me the price and I mentioned I was paying in cash and she bluntly said it was the same price. I been going there for quite some time and it was always 10% off when paying in cash. I don't know if their policy changed or she was just in a bad mood.
It really got me questioning if they value their customers.

The sushi is good but really can be increases in size - the service is very slow and crappy - we literally had to run after waiters - tips are asked at gun point - I was forced to tip by the lady at the counter for a crappy service that didn’t want to tip. Please carry out or order from uber instead of dealing with the lady at the restaurant

The wait staff was incredibly attentive, very good looking and exceptionally well-dressed. I was served by the most beautiful waitress I had ever seen! Food was also tasty and good quality for the price :)

I used to visit this place quite often, but unfortunately, I ended up disappointed. The staff added a tip to the bill automatically without any prior notice, even though during my previous visits this wasn’t the case — so the tipping policy is unclear. But that’s not even the main issue. The service was inattentive: they kept forgetting to bring utensils, and the attitude was unfriendly, as if serving customers was a burden. After such treatment, I had no desire to leave a tip at all. I truly hope the management takes note of the service quality, as it plays a huge role in the overall experience of the establishment.

It was truly disappointing. This sushi place used to be my go-to spot, but the quality has deteriorated for quite some time. I don't know if they have a new chef or maybe new management. Last night, I ordered some rolls and they were MINI. The fish on the Rainbow roll is an extremely small piece on top, accompanied by a thin layer of rice outside. (SEE PIC) They look nothing like the picture, and the flavour is mediocre. We only ordered 2 special rolls, and the total adds up to $21. I will not come back again.
