I came in with a friend just wanting to enjoy an afternoon coffee and dessert together. A week ago, I was here for just coffee and it wasn’t a problem at all. This time, however, the experience was very disappointing.
The blonde lady who was supposed to take our order refused to do so. Instead of politely explaining if there was a minimum spending policy, she said: “We don’t do just coffee. You can go to any other coffee shop. There are many around.” The hostess also never informed us about any minimum spending requirement when we entered.
It’s not about the policy itself, but the way it was handled. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. Instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both communication and customer service.

Food - excellent. The burrata, and Genovese pizza were both outstanding. Service - great. Servers didn’t constantly keep asking us how the food was, which can sometimes be very annoying. Kept our water glasses refilled at regular intervals. Atmosphere - excellent. Extras - came for my birthday and was treated to a cupcake with a candle. A very small but sweet gesture that was much appreciated. Will most definitely be returning!

I’ve been to 7 Enoteca a few times now and it never disappoints. The space is cozy but luxurious, with that tucked-away bistro vibe that makes it feel special every time. The service is always excellent — attentive without being over the top, which really adds to the experience. Last night we had the Palermo pizza and honestly, it might be the best pizza I’ve ever had — pistachio honey, a generous layer of prosciutto, mascarpone, and figs. Every bite was incredible. A true downtown Oakville gem.

Came here for a couple drinks and a pizza but to be honest now I know why the reviews aren’t the greatest. Spent the day downtown walking around and decided to give this place a try. We came down the stairs from outside standing and waiting for a host. Who told us to go into the restaurant to get someone to seat us outside. Mind you the patio is super small. So the girl comes and asks us if we wanted water we said yes we wanted still water. We looked through the menu picked our drinks and picked our app and waitedddddd for the girl to come back to the table to ask us what we wanted to drink. Brought the drinks and then told her we would like the mortadella pizza. Now mind you this is a wood oven pizza place there was barely anyone at the restaurant at this time. She brings our drinks my sister asked for a spicy margarita.. the waitress brings out a regular margarita I asked for Red sangria… now sangrias have fruit inside why was there a slice of orange? I’m sorry that’s not A sangria.. now the pizza comes out the pizza was coldddd like cold not even warm to The touch.? How ? So we complained about it being cold the girl then takes the pizza throws it in garbage. We got the bill they discounted $12 off the pizza ? I mean not for nothing but they should’ve just took the pizza completely off the bill. But anyways won’t be coming here ever again.

We had the pleasure of dining at 7 Enoteca, our server Beverly was kind, prompt and knowledgable! We had the burrata, Agnolotti, and the Genovese and Matteo pizza. Great portion sizes and very tasty. The atmosphere and design were wonderful and something you don't often see in the Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville area. Looking forward to dining again and trying other items!

Had my anniversary celebration here today. I was very pleased with my experience. Food was amazing and that tiramisu is to die for. It was a bit crowded right at open time though. Would definitely come back.

The service from every staff member was truly amazing. The whole experience was so personable. I went with a group of my girlfriends and we felt so seen, every staff member we interacted with was so kind and did above and beyond. One of the best restaurant experiences I have had!

Simple Italian dishes perfectly executed . What a pleasant surprise for a random trip to Oakville. I ordered an incredibly delicious fresh pasta dish with a tomato based beef cheek sauce I can’t stop thinking about !! The service is very nice; overall I had a nice evening and will be coming back very soon .

Phoned to make a reso but was all booked up but I was informed if I show up at 5pm I could sit on the patio as it was first-come-first served. So I showed up at 4:50pm and the host said sorry we are not open yet but come back at 5pm and we will seat you but a woman (Beverly) yells over and says 'tell them 530pm'. So I asked to speak to the manager and of course it was Beverly-the-manager and Beverly-the-manger tells me they overbooked so they are not taking walk-ins and told me to come back at 530pm and I might or might not get a seat (huh). Keep in mind it is 4:56pm at this point and no one was in the restaurant or the patio with the exception of me and Beverly-the-manager. Long story short I did not have the opp to try the food so not rated but the service and Beverly-the-manager get a zero.

I had dinner at 7 Enoteca last weekend with a group of business associates. I had been there several years ago and was reminded of what a great restaurant it is.
Twice a week the bring fresh burrata cheese from Italy. You cannot skip this appetizer. The food is excellent, the service staff are outstanding and I particularly like the owner in the restaurant making sure the guests are taken care of.
Truly one of my favourite restaurants in the GTA. Highly recommend going there!
