I hadn’t been to Adonis since before COVID, and I’m so glad I finally returned. I had the Adonis Shawarma plate with rice, roast potatoes, and Greek salad—everything was fresh and full of flavour. The chicken was tender and perfectly spiced, and the sides were just as impressive. Portions were generous, service was quick and friendly, and the quality hasn’t changed a bit. It’s even better than I remembered. Highly recommend!
We’ve tried a majority of the menu and the Food and Service is consistently top notch. Wonderful family-run resto!

Not be confused with the Adonis Supermarket chain, this restaurant seems to be a family run local favorite. They seem to Lebanese but are cooking your average Mediterranean / Greek food. I've been here a couple of times, and every single time the food is really bloody good.
This time, I was recommended by the nice waitress that they are known for their Adonis Shawarma. The one thing they do different is they put pineapple in it, weird sounding but intriguing I decided to give it a try. It was super delicious. I would recommend anyone to give it a go. Maybe not authentic (I like my toum thicker and not saucy), but you will still really enjoy it.
One small criticism I see is the price. It is a little on the pricier side depending on what you get. But I feel like the portion size and the quality of food you get justify it.

I stopped here based on a recommendation for a friend in search of a better shawarma than what I've been used to in Oakville. I think I found it! The location is totally unassuming in a residential neighborhood in an old strip mall. The reviews look good and I'm glad I tried to do it. I have the chicken shawarma entree which came with chicken, rice, potatoes and a. Greek salad. Everything was delicious, especially the potatoes in the rice which often times are afterthoughts. The service was great. Walking out I saw somebody with a grilled shrimp entree and it looked awesome. I'm definitely going to try that next time I go.

Adonis Family Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is nothing short of incredible—hands down the best shawarma on the rocks I’ve ever had. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the authenticity of their dishes truly shines through. What really sets this place apart, though, is the warm and welcoming environment. The staff are genuinely caring, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Their attention to detail and dedication to customer service are unmatched. We moved 45 mins away and still make an effort to come here for dates because the grilled calamari is unbeatable. The salad, the souvlaki, the meat, the sauces, the rice, the potatoes, everything is so good.

After a Celebration of Life last Saturday, my party of 7 had lunch at Adonis. This being my second time there, I just had to recommend this restaurant to my family. The absolutely delicious food, presentation, amazing service and the relaxed and quaint atmosphere, we couldn’t have asked for anything better…seriously!

Many of us were out of towners but for sure will stop in for another great experience at Adonis when we return back to Oakville. Well done Adonis and thanks again!!

Very local quality service I ordered meal with two drink to eat in and she don’t inform will close at 7 PM. Save my food packet for take away and just one drink without fork or something to eat my dinner. Very low quality serve
