Great Buttertarts !!!

I went to grab some treats for Father’s Day and got blessed with an end of day sale, apple pies, and some cakes were discounted. Needless to say the treats hit the spot, can’t wait to dig into the pie later

They made the best cake for my daughters birthday celebration. We got a variety of pastries that were all equally as delicious. Always a treat coming here.

At one point this little bakery was an Oakville staple, now it has fallen into utter ruin. Poor management, shortcuts on ingredients to save money, and waaaay over priced for the quality. The only people who should (and probably do) shop here are the Oakville rich and elite who think they’re being altruistic by shopping at a “small, family run business”. Only real ones know this place is overhyped and really not that good.

Downtown Oakville has gone from comfort to capitalism, and I fear Black Forest has as well.

I am unfortunately quite disappointed with my experience today. I frequent this bakery and today I was served by a young blonde girl. She had seemed to be crying which mad made me uncomfortable and I felt it was unprofessional. I had asked for a sandwich (well before they closed) and she expressed that she did not want to make me one and made me feel like I was being a burden. I will not be returning if business is run this way

Excellent little walk-in Bakery, busy location just down from Oakville Town square. Friendly employees providing fast service, I recommend the s'mores cookie 🍪, absolutely delicious!

had a mini egg brownie from here today and it was AMAZING!!! been thinking about it since lol

Butter tarts are excellent from here highly recommend!

I love this bakery! I always pass by when I’m in the area to grab some sweets. The lemon bar is probably one of my favourites, I’m excited to see what they have for the holidays.

Like the others have said the orders sometimes come wrong from the girls making them . The girls making the food are also very unwelcoming. The owners are welcoming which is why this gets 2 stars and not 1.

Nice bakery right in the middle of downtown Oakville.
Sells pies, tarts cakes cookies with some deals buying half dozen or larger quantities. Few stools by the window to sit down and wait for your order
I bought some gluten-free baked goods which I was happy to see there was the option. I requested that they be cut in quarters which I was kindly accommodated.
Also bought 500g of raw Ontario (Guelph) honey at a reasonable price.

Finally, I bought a Ham and cheese sandwich, and it was delicious with fresh bread and ingredients, however they forgot the cheese 🤦🏽‍♀️ 🧀

I've been all over Canada and have never found a bakery that could even come close to the quality and kind service like at Black Forest Pastry and Bakery. I have never had a bad product. I love this place, keep up the amazing work. You are an asset to Oakville.

The best pastry shop in the west suburbs of the GTA! Staff are so friendly, pastries are delicious! Highly recommend!
