We got to try out their new items from their menu. Boon’s goal is to offer all of the amazing comfort foods you would expect to find in a traditional cafe but healthier! They make their food with wholesome ingredients, and lots of love? We got to try some of their new amazing dishes from their menu:? Greek Burger? BBQ Jack Delight Burger? Mac n Cheeze Bowl? Veggie Panini? Sriracha Crunch Dog? BBQ Dog? Spicy Hawaiian Pizza? Pulled Jack PoutineWe had such an amazing experience! We truly appreciate how kind and generous the owner was! We will definitely be back again! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if you are not vegan or vegetarian! Can’t wait to go back and order their other menu offerings!? Name: @boon_oakville? Location: Oakville, ON? Price: $$$RATING: ???? (4.5/5)

This restaurant used to be a stable for me. Lots of fresh, clean ingredients and delicious food. Really disappointed with the changes new ownership implemented. The menu has a lot of processed ingredients now. I can't for the life of me understand why someone would purchase an existing restaurant and then change everything... The value in buying a brand is retaining the customer base and these guys have definately not done that. I hope the old owners open another restaurant.

Had this place on our radar for over a year. When we arrived, we realized it was under new management. The service and ambiance was great. The food was good but underwhelming considering the expectations we had. I had the aloo tiki burger and my wife had the chicken burger. The fries were not worth it. Overall, I think it's a good spot to grab a burger...they have a lot of options and a few fusion (Indian) dishes as well. There is a beautiful patio to sit at as well.

Vegetarian options: Have vegan and vegetarian options.

This place used to be five-star. I was a regular. Then ownership changed, they introduced non-vegan items, food quality dropped, and worst of all, the hours became wildly inconsistent. It's out of my way, but was still worth it - but twice now, I've made the drive when Google Maps says they are open (what little they are open), and they are closed. Today, it appears they are permanently closed. 4pm on a Saturday, and locked up tighter than a drum. A peer in the windows shows no signs of food in the cabinets, and some equipment looks wrapped up. Too bad boon, a real shame. I was rooting for you, but you appear to have slew-footed yourself when loyal customers can't even figure out when you're open.

They're not vegan anymore and the food/menu is bad now. Stopped ordering from them. Their poutine is also very dry, get copper branch instead.

After confirming that they are now under new management, I can see why the food was so different when I went. Really disappointing to see someone buy a beloved restaurant with amazing food and completely change it. They have taken favourites off the menu and added some pretty strange stuff, got rid of the amazing fries and replaced them with generic fries, and changed the vibe of the restaurant too. The people at the counter who served me were really really nice, but I can’t get past the food quality, quantity, and price for what you now get. RIP Boom Burger- hopefully the new owners can take all the feedback and implement some changes.

I have been to Boon Burger many times before and every item on the menu was to die for. We decided to grab Boon burger on our way home and it was quite a disappointment. The menu has totally changed, less options and no sizes to choose from. The portion sizes are small for the price. The ingredients are disgusting, the fries are totally different (tastes like frozen fries) and the pizza was the worst pizza I’ve ever had, it was honestly the size of a small pizza for $16 is a joke. Save your money and buy a frozen Delissio pizza instead. And to introduce vegetarian options is a disappointment as I never had to worry about cross contamination or non-vegan ingredients in my meal. We usually devour our meal but honestly we couldn’t stomach to finish the rest. Please remove the statement that this establishment is 100% plant based as you have introduced dairy into the menu.Such a shame to kill the amazing Boon name. I will never be back.

Not the place is used to be. Disappointing all around. You're better off at Copper Branch or Community if you're in Oakville. Lettuce Love in Burlington, or making the drive to Hamilton for Rise Above or Odd Burger. Unfortunately Boon has come under new management / owners who have drove this business into the ground. All the loyal boon customers I know are no longer customers, and after visiting again myself, it's very clear why. Spend your money elsewhere.

Boon burger is dead. It’s under new ownership (probably the reason the Burlington location closed as well). The menu has changed (less options, cheaper ingredients, less taste and quality). I am a bottomless pit when it comes to eating and I almost hurled eating the pizza and poutine. $16 for a personal pizza that tasted like it came straight from the freezer. Same goes for the fries, they are no longer the same. Just stay away and save your money.

My family and I visited Boon in Burlington many times and thoroughly the variety of menu options for both adults and children. This week was our first time trying this Oakville location. While the staff was kind and friendly, We will not return. The pizza was identical to a pizza pocket. The crust was white as snow - not cooked at all. It seemed it was cooked in a toaster oven. There was 1 slice of beyond sausage by slice. Saying it was underwhelming is an understatement. It does not represent the Boon brand of products at all that we previously enjoyed in Burlington. It is truly the worst pizza I have eaten.

This is an amazing place !! lots of vegan and vegetarian options. The food is tasty and price is reasonable. we have been there few times and tried different burgers and Poutine and were happy with the taste. The owners are very friendly and always greet you with smile.

So sad!! Used to love this exclusively VEGAN place. Had a beautiful wall cow art which is now painted over. They now are serving vegetarian options… the delicious hand made sesame seeds fries are now plain Costco store bought. Even the door is broken. This new management… no words. To my fellow vegan friends, don’t waste your time or money.Desecrated Boon burger R.I.P.

I ordered 3 different fries and a desert for me and my friends. The fries/poutines had no flavor, I am not sure if maybe this was missed by the cooks. Unfortunately my experteasnt great, and I paid almost $50 for my order. I am assuming this was a mistake by the cooks as the restaurant has positive reviews normally.

Food takes quiet a long time after ordering to be brought to your table. For some reason take out/delivery is more prioritized than the actual in person customers.Prices are way too high for what you get.

We came all the way from Hamilton to try this. The food was amazing and filling and the service was fantastic and all the staff was very friendly and helpful.I got the Greek burger with the Makhani poutine and my fiance got the BBQ Jack Delight burger with the Pulled Jack poutine. We both loved the food a lot and devoured our burgers. I would 100% make the drive out to Boon again.

Dietary restrictions: This place is fantastic because I've got a dairy allergy and I don't have to worry about making any special requests because everything is mostly vegan.
