Lovely spot for great food and drinks?! We sat at the bar and were well taken care of. We were passing through on our way from Niagara and glad we found a new spot!

Went for lunch after having been to a reception there a week or two earlier. Lunch was quiet. Food and service both good. Will be back.

This was our first time at this restaurant. When we got there the table we were given was in a very noisy section of the restaurant, and they were very accommodating and moved us to the back of the restaurant which suited us just fine. We will definitely try this restaurant again!

Went for the Taste of Oakville. The food was absolutely amazing. I am usually not very impressed by Italian food. I mean, I have never been to a bad Italian restaurant, but I have never been wow'd, but this one did it. It is a little pricey, but you get your money's worth (at least with the Taste of Oakville deal). I will for sure be visiting again.

Great service, really delicious food. At our table we had the grilled salmon, oso bucco and a pasta dish. Everything was great. Only thing is we went for Taste of Oakville and surprisingly, it seemed to be more expensive to order off of that menu, then to just order à la carte. In any case I will still go again, because I thought they did a superb job of preparing the food. Service was very warm and friendly.

Really disappointing. Very noisy, could not hear each other speak. Pricey for what you got. My burrata with peaches came served with tinned peaches for $21. The service was the low point however. No one looked after our table. We had to flag down a random employee whenever we wanted something. The time between appetizer and entree was ridiculous and then they got irritated because we asked for separate bills, something that most places accommodate with a smile.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Borgo Antico but the menu for Valentine evening dinner was different from the usual one and special. Each dish that we had - Short Rib Arancini, Iceland Cod, Crespelle (Crepe filled with Ricotta and Ground Veal in Tomato Sauce), Tiramisu - was excellent in quality, taste and presentation. The place was busy and the atmosphere was happy and festive. We were well looked after by wait staff and the owners. We ended up having after dinner drinks and great conversation with the couple at the next table. A wonderful evening and we will happily come back to Borgo.

Valentine’s Day dinner highway robbery!Borgo Antico had been our go-to place for special occasions. We loved the what was once authentic Italian food, and elegant yet cozy vibe of the place. After last night’s dinner, we’ll be looking for a new place to enjoy our special dinner’s out.Service was lack lustre. We were ignored for most of the meal, which is fine except when you need something. Some people in the restaurant were offered a bread basket, most of us were not - including us.We were overcharged for our waters (got charged for 3 bottles of sparkling at $7.50/bottle and we only had 2, which we had to ask the bar to bring us).The special Valentine’s dinner menu featured a shrimp cocktail at $25. My husband got 3 pieces of jumbo shrimp with a green goddess sauce. That’s well over market price! My husband’s entree was the balsamic chicken with root vegetables for $30. On the plate was 2 medium sized chicken thighs and 3 carrots cut in halves. No sweet potato purée or anything extra to help make the meal more satisfying.$182 (before tip) for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and 2 bottles of sparkling water and 1 mocktail is robbery. And my poor husband was still hungry after, so he ate when we got home.It will be a VERY long time before we choose to return to what was once our favourite spot, if ever.So disappointing!

I felt like I was robbed. It's definitely not worth the money to come here. Their menu on Valentine's day was very limited, and they ran out of the Lobster Tortellini. We're only told after 15 minutes of ordering that the dish was sold out, then we had to wait another 30 minutes for the rest of our original order to arrive. I don't understand how they let that happen when they knew it was Valentine's day, and the menu was “specialized” for the occasion. Also, the serving was so little and the taste was mediocre. Are we going back to Borgo Antico? I feel like they're still a good restaurant, but our previous experience was just horrible that I don't want to spend another $100 not unless they could guarantee a good experience.

A true, authentic Italian dinner. The more I ate, the more it reminded me of the beautiful cuisine that Italy has to offer. Additionally, the servers were very welcoming and friendly which added to the experience. Lastly, I had the Linguine Aragosta E Gamberi, which was cooked to perfection and tasted like it was straight from the Mediterranean. Bravo Borgo Antico!

Love to support small businesses, this Family owned and operated restaurant doesn’t miss a beat. The food, drinks and service was fantastic!I went with their special feature Fagoletti(House Made Stuffed Pasta with Lobster, Shrimp and Marscarpone Tossed in a Tomato Cream With Peppercorns) it deserves to have a permanent on their menu. Also loved the Burrata and tiramisu!

The good food just keeps getting better. I've been coming for years and it never disappoints. Inventive and excellent food, service with a smile and very gracious suggestions are helpful. Our whole group really enjoyed it.

Went during the day for lunch. All of the party ordered something different and all of the dishes were amazing! They all tasted delicious. I ordered the sausage pasta, my wife ordered the lamb and one of our kids tried the seafood pasta while the other had the bolognese. We all loved our dishes! I love the seafood pasta so much (as did our daughter) that I will order that next time we go there. We also tried their desserts and they were also tasty! I understand other people's reviews about the service and being a bit slow. I could see that but the food made up for it! The owner even brought out the food himself and check in on us which was a nice touch.
