I’ve been here a few times and it’s generally a safe, no-drama choice. It gets busy, but things usually run smoothly and the place doesn’t feel overwhelmed.
The food is straightforward and familiar. The pizza is consistent, with a solid crust and plenty of toppings, and the rest of the menu sticks to classic comfort food. Burgers, pastas, and appetizers are exactly what you expect—nothing trying too hard, but nothing that misses the mark either. Portions are decent, and it’s easy to split a couple of apps if you’re not that hungry.
Service has been friendly and efficient in my experience. Staff are attentive without hovering and seem good at keeping things moving, even when the restaurant is full. Food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and you’re not left waiting around when you’re ready to pay.
The vibe is casual and relaxed, with a sports-bar feel that works well for groups or an easy night out. Prices are pretty standard for a chain restaurant, and while it’s not somewhere you’d plan a special night around, it does what it’s supposed to do. If you want something reliable where you know what you’re getting, this place fits the bill.

Dear [oakville boston pizza ],
I am writing to share feedback regarding my experience at your restaurant this past Sunday at 2:00 PM.
I visited with my daughter for a father-daughter date and we sat in the bar area. Despite there being only a few other customers, we waited for 15 minutes without receiving any service. The two staff members on duty remained engaged in conversation and only approached our table with plates as I was getting up to leave.
Due to the lack of service, we decided to leave and went to the Boston Pizza at Erin Mills instead, where we had a much better experience. I had originally intended to try your food to consider your restaurant for a catering event I am planning in February, but I have now decided to move forward with the Erin Mills location for my event needs.
I hope you find this feedback helpful for improving your service standards.

I recently visited this location with my friends after watching a movie and we were obviously starving so we decided to pick the closest thing we saw. However, I genuinely think it was the worst decision we made. The restaurant was filthy and I am genuinely confused as to why it was because mind you we came in closer to 10-10:30pm which means it was basically empty (see photo for proof) and it could have been cleaned in a few seconds. It's really disgusting to come into a restaurant and there is trash everywhere on the floor including the corner where we were sitting. The front counter where the hostess was, was not very pleasant. She barely looked at us and they were all having their own conversation and did not seem very friendly. She called someone else to walk us over but whoever she called over, also did not say anything and just implied we had to follow her. I'm not saying you need to have a long conversation, I understand people are tired and it was late at night but a simple hello, how's everyone's night been would have been appreciated. However, our actual server was very kind and made an effort to come check in and make conversation whenever they could. The food itself was not good, it took almost an hour to come out even when it was basically empty and it was cold. It was bland and none of us were happy at all. Overall, I would most likely never ever come here again.

I had just finished work + a gym session and had heard about the new pasta promotion on Tuesday's and decided to try it out at this location. As it was my first time trying Boston pizza in general.
I was greeted politely and the hostess was very nice. Now the $11.99 ( starting price and only 3 pasta options ) didn’t come with a protein so ofcourse I opted for the $15.99 hungry carnivore pasta.
Now I did ask her if it was a HEARTY amount of food prior to ordering and she confirmed it would have been but I was disappointed with the amount of food in the container for 18 bucks. Don’t get me wrong the pasta was amazing, flavour and the garlic bread was good but I immediately regretted what I had paid due to the portion of food received. All in all I think as a company they could invest in larger food containers. I’d probably just settle for making my own pasta next time to be real.

it took over 1 hour for us to get our food. appetizers were brought out upon speaking to server about how long it had taken. when we got our appetizers we only received 2 plates with those despite having a party of 4. manager did however come and apologize and let us know they were understaffed but the wait time is still nonetheless ridiculous. shortly after, we received our mains but those were incorrect too. we got 2 club sandwich’s when we had only ordered one and were told our order for the grilled chicken tacos never went through. our server then came back to apologize and later returned with the bill despite it NOT being requested and while my family was still eating. it was genuinely such terrible service. i would not have left a review and understand it can be difficult when it’s busy and understaffed but it was so unprofessional that the server to bought out the bill only moments after we had gotten the food and were still eating.

Seif was honestly such a vibe. From the jump he was super chill, mad friendly, and made us feel comfortable right away. He actually checked in without being annoying and kept everything running smooth the whole time. Knew what he was doing, had solid recommendations, and made sure we were always good. Nothing felt rushed, nothing got missed, just good energy all around. Lowkey made the whole experience way better. If you get Seif as your server, you’re set. Easily one of the best servers I’ve had.
Just paid $10.29 for a reg pint of Coors Light on a Thurs at lunch.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!

***Update in Response to the Owner***
Apologies, that my post above was not unclear, let me explain it like a toddler:
People like their hot food to be hot because that’s how it’s supposed to be! When food is hot, it tastes way better. Like spaghetti — hot spaghetti is yummy and saucy, but cold spaghetti is all sticky and weird. Or pizza! Hot Boston Pizza pizza is cheesy and melty, but cold pizza feels hard and kinda sad.
And chicken wings! Hot wings are super tasty and make your fingers all saucy, but cold wings? Nope, that’s just not fun. So when people say they want a hot meal at Boston Pizza, they mean they want it to actually be hot, not cold and droopy!
