My wife and I dined at Burger Theory on the evening of May 12th, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. As vegetarians, we often find our choices limited at burger joints—but not here. From the moment we stepped into the warm, inviting atmosphere on the ground floor of the Holiday Inn & Suites in Oakville, we felt welcome.
Special mention must go to the hostess—Lisa, if memory serves—who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She patiently walked us through the vegetarian options and made us feel right at home. It's rare to find such thoughtful service, and it truly enhanced our dining experience.
The food itself? Outstanding. Flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Every bite was a reminder that vegetarian cuisine doesn’t have to compromise on taste.

I had a somewhat enjoyable experience at Burger Theory. The night I went was during our largest snow storm this past winter, not many walking options from our hotel. I think the food here is not bad, the fries are perfect. You got the straight cut fries that are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. And surprisingly a decent portion size. Where I took a star was with the burger, typically I judge the classic cheeseburger. And I was pretty disappointed by it, it's not horrible by any means, but it was just simply okay. The burger patty was not well seasoned, I think the patty was a little too charred which took more points from the flavour and texture. It was quite a dry patty. My wife's fish burger, had a bite and that was excellent. This could easily be just a one off, but if I were to come back, I would go for fish over beef. The rest of the components were all quite standard. Service was excellent though, staff were kind.

The burgers are decent, they skimp on the toppings though. Avoid the apple crumb sweet jar, it's basically just slightly cooked apple slices in a tasteless sweet syrup.

We were travelling on business and staying in a nearby hotel. We came to Burger Theory on our second night here and ended up eating here for three nights. The bar had a great relaxing vibe and we can't say enough about the amazing service we received from Victoria and Lisa Marie, it was excellent. They are both great brand ambassadors and really made us feel comfortable as we were away from home.

I wasn’t expecting there to be a nice bar in the hotel during my stay. Victoria the bartender greeted me and provided me suggestions on her favourite food and recommendations. I went with the special that night and the portions were good considering the price. There were a variety of beers to pick from! Fast service and I will be returning back during my stay here. It was also my first time coming to Oakville so the staff gave me suggestions on what to do in the area and we had good conversations. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel and the restaurant for making me feel welcome.

I'd give 1 start but the drinks were good. Tmwe had the chicken wings and they were dry overcooked terrible wings that was priced outrageous for what we got. Service was slow to greet us and take our order. The lady serving drinks Saturday night was much better.
