The service was excellent! We were served by Gabe. The dessert was amazing! Infact even the kitchen staff were great. ((All smiles)) I will say though, even though the bathrooms were fairly clean. They most certainly need a renovation.

The crepe was enjoyable, but unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by several hygiene and service issues. The teapot and teacup were extremely dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor. Staff, including the manager, behaved unprofessionally—laughing loudly and chatting among themselves, giving the impression of a very casual, i think they are all cousins. Most concerning was witnessing the manager place her bare hand in the ice cream for over a minute to get a scoop of icecream without wearing gloves, raising serious hygiene concerns. If you're craving their desserts, I strongly recommend visiting the Burlington branch instead

Demetres in Oakville has been my go-to dessert spot for at least 20 years now. Before google review even started and smoking was allowed in restaurants. The service has always been consistently excellent: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Whether it’s a quiet night or a busy weekend, the staff make you feel right at home.
And the desserts? Always delicious. From waffles and crepes to sundaes and their decadent cakes, everything is full of flavour. Today I tried their new menu and wow. Matcha on waffles is amazing! They never skimp on quality or presentation. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer and savor every bite.
If you're looking for a reliable, cozy spot with amazing desserts and great service, Demetres Oakville is a true gem. Here's to many more years of sweet memories!
