Tried this local joint in our area and immediately liked the vibe. Great hip hop blaring when you walk in, very clean, open counter top view.We ordered a set of tacos (variety) as well as the kimchi fries. All very tasty, nothing mind blowing but all very good.I'd recommend trying it if you are in the area.
I tried their Tofu+Mushroom Rice Bowl. It was really good. The staff member was able to assist me with their vegetarian options. Their customer service is great.
Very bland and weird tacos. No taste and flavour at all. Hot sauce was so sweet and the pickled onions or radish didn’t have any taste at all, it tasted so bland. I’ve never been so disappointed with tacos in my life! Tried the Bao too but not good.
Went for dine-in for lunch after hiking. Staff was nice, food was fresh and delicious. Korean Donkatsu was surprisingly authentic and delicious as well. I personally preferred the bao bun VS taco soft shell.
Not impressed. The main element of each food was so bad. The french fries in the pork belly fries were undercooked almost raw. The fried chicken in kfc taco was either old or fried and wasnt used so they reused it for my bogo offer. Its so disappointing cause the other elements are good. The toppings and sauces. But the binding thing.. awful. And they took forever to make it. My friend ordered a bao. She usually likes it so I wont comment on that. These items could be done very well. I know people who own food trucks that make these items so amazing. But clearly whoever the cook for far east taco is today wanted to sabotage the restaurant.
Ordered 2 bulgogi taco on ubereats. I thought discovering one string of hair in one of my tacos was disgusting enough, but guess what???I found one in each of them!!!!Absolutely disgusting?I took a video while pulling out both hair. Both are light brown and are 10+cm.
Korean tacos are not something you see often, its one of a kind. I got the Bao sliders which were so delicious! Definitely a mouthful of flavours that you have to try! The employees are wonderful and so is the food!
TLDR: I think it might be the best Taco joint I've ever been to.Came in on a Tuesday and got a Fish Taco, Pork Belly Taco, and Kalbi (Short Rib) Bao. Tuesdays have 2 tacos at discount and Sundays have Baos at discount. Met the owner and she was very friendly and helpful, as was the staff. Tacos had plenty of fillings compared to my other top spots. Definitely recommend the Pork Belly if youre looking for a greasy treat. But I would say the Bao is the main attraction though; Freshly steamed, and filling yet "light". 7Lives downtown used to be my number 1 spot for the last 8 years (and I've tried many taco joints in that time). But because these ingredients are so fresh, flavourful, and plentiful, Far East Taco is my new top pick. Kudos to the owner for accomplishing something great here!
Yummy food, very friendly positive staff! The tofu bao was my favourite. The tofu really outshined the fried chicken and the pork belly. I am used to smaller sized, easier to handle baos, these are pretty big and a little messy! I ordered 3 for myself and I had no idea how much food that would be! Not like 3 tacos that’s for sure, they are not skimping on portion sizes, You get the bang for your buck here.
Absolutely delicious! The food is so fresh and so flavourful! I loved every bite. I tried the pork belly Taco, the Kimchi fries and dumplings. The portions were a good size and I was so full after. I even had leftovers for later. I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu.

Great flavors, good portions and good pricing. We had the pork belly, kalbi, pork bulgoggi, beef bulgoggi, fish, fried korean chicken baos and the beef mando. The sliders are a good size. The single baos are pretty big for small eaters like myself. Good portion sizes . Really fresh flavors..Definitely a place to return to.
Korean food + tacos = awesome. ? I can't get enough of Far East Taco. The food is delicious, and there are many options for people who are shy to try Asian cuisine, people who like spicy food or something adventurous, vegetarians, and vegans. The tacos are creative and fun, and I usually go for the rice bowls because they are so filling. I really like the food here because they don't use a lot of sugar and preservatives in the food, unlike many Asian restaurants, so I can enjoy a fresh and healthy meal. The owner and staff are amazing, too. They always go above and beyond with their customer service. You have to check out Far East Taco. ❤️??❤️
Just 4 pieces pork for +18 dollars does not worth a price. Also the pork is too overcooked or just the bad quality, felt like chewing rubber, also smells too oily. Tacos were good
New favourite spot for Korean deliciousness in tacos, baos and rice bowls!Finding quality ingredients (we have tried Bulgogi, Kalbi and Pork Belly) is somewhat challenging but what they are also winning at is their customer service level. We had an issue with the online order and the way the store manager handled it was simply amazing.Delicious food with great customer care is the recipe for success, highly recommended!
When East meets West we have Far East Taco. Awesome little spot on the corner of Dundas and Neyagawa in the Fortino's plaza. They are a fusion restaurant that combine Korean style cuisine with western cusine like tacos and poutine. We ordered their Pork Kimchi fries and added a fried egg on top. The flavour is great love the extra texture that the egg yolk added when you break it open. The regular portion is a good size. The Beef Mandu is good as well fried perfectly juicy inside flavourful.Of course the stars of this place are their tacos and baos. We ordered 4 different tacos. We got a fish taco, pork taco, beef bulgogi taco, and pork bulgogi taco. Out of the 4 different tacos our favourite taco was the fish taco, tender soft white fish and flaky. The baos are fluffy and sweet we got the trio of pork belly, beef bulgogi, and kalbi baos all loaded with everything. The portions are a decent size lots of filling and best part they don't really fall apart on you. The packaging is a great design they have dividers to keep your taco and bao standing upright so it doesn't fall over and make a mess as you bring them home.We will be back for more soon.Feijai Out!
