Firehouse Subs Dorval

I had the Montreal smoked meat, & tried their fries. It was delicious! The food was hot, fresh & fast. The people where very friendly. They have great options, definitely way better quality than the other sub shops out there. A bit more expensive but I you get better quality stuff. I think so anyways. I also like the fact that they have lots of different drink options especially zero sugar ones on the fountain pop machine

Dudeeee their sandwich game is spot on, but please try the new fries. God damn those are really good fries!!!!!!! Wish they had poutine!!!

Stopped by Firehouse Subs and got the Italian. The sub itself was really good — fresh, packed with flavour, and they don’t cheap out on the toppings. Only downside was the wait. It took a bit longer than expected, but it made sense since it was right in the middle of the lunch rush. Overall, tasty and worth it.

Ordered the Thanksgiving turkey sub, asked for gravy on the side as per the big sign right beside the cash, only to be told “we don’t have gravy here”. Went ahead and ordered anyway, as expected without the gravy it was too dry, also more stuffing than turkey. Had at different location week earlier, they had gravy.
Also fountain drink tasted dirty, was disgusting!
Won’t return to this location, was sub par compared to other locations I’ve been to.
P.s, there’s a grocery store across the street for crying out loud! Go get some gravy! Or at least stop advertising it… geez!

I won’t be coming back and I don’t recommend. The food is overpriced for what you get. I asked for an extra pickle on the side and received only one that was frozen - it literally had ice on it. The “grilled chicken breast” isn’t fresh or grilled at all - it’s just prepackaged chicken tossed into the sub. Very disappointing.

I usually eat at Firehouse once a week as I always enjoy the subs I order. Today I tried the Spicy Dill Hook & Ladder. It was so good and filling. My new favorite. It was so filling that I only ate half for lunch and gave my son the other half when i arrived home.

I wanted to share this other experience with people
Last week I went to a different Sub place nearby to use a gift card from Christmas. (Not a Firehouse Sub location)
I paid about the same as I did today at Firehouse. I watched them make the Italian sub, counting 8 thin slices of artificial salami. I said no to the capocollo because it was old, grey and I knew it was off code. I ended up taking 2 bites; the bread was stale and the meat was terrible so I threw it in the garbage. I still had $10.00 on the gift card but i threw it in the garbage too.

Lesson learned. When you find a good restaurant like Firehouse stay with them and you will never be disappointed
