I would put NO stars if I could but I would not be able to post this concerning review for people that have food intolerances. I specifically ordered GLUTEN FREE penne and I was served gnocchi WITH gluten. I did not return the gnocchi because I was told they were gluten free. If they were gluten free, I would not have felt so ill since I ate them. Lying to a customer and putting their health in jeopardy is completely negligent. I should have known, when I was told they only had 2% milk for a capucchino. Truly oblivious to how common gut issues are these days. Also, far from authentic italian food and completely overpriced for the quality of ingredients used.

Salmon is really good and the service is great.

Was very surprised. Had never been to an Il Fornello before, but was expecting a totally different experience. Firstly, the host was VERY helpful and accommodating in allowing me to plug in my dying laptop at the front, where he could monitor it.
Secondly, the choices of patio seating were plentiful (we did get there at opening though).
Our waiter was spectacular - thank you Jack!
I would actually have to say that it was the best vegan experience I have had at any restaurant in Canada.

I recently tried Il Fornello and was very impressed! I ordered their pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic. When I walked in the restaurant I could see their beautiful wood fired pizza oven so I know the pizza was going to be good!

Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

Bonus is they make one hell of a negroni!

Definitely recommend checking this place out, specially if you like wood fired pizza.

We ordered from Uber Eats. The fettuccine Alfredo was hot but bland and very small portion for $25. The Caesar salad dressing was good but very small portion for $18. Extremely disappointing experience for the price.

This restaurant is our "go to" for family birthday celebrations or a relaxing family dinner.
Always consistently good experience, welcoming atmosphere, has good energy and a character but not too loud, so you can enjoy the conversation.
Service is always excellent: professional, friendly and attentive.
Food is great, we have tried many different options, fantastic pizza.
It can be hard these days to find a place where the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable, and this place offers the perfect balance.

Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was nice.
The only thing could be better was the service. Our server was a nice person, but there were only two servers for many tables during lunch thus our server was basically not around and seemed to rush through conversations whenever coming to our table.

We visited for dinner, we were seated as soon as we arrived. The team arranged for a high chair for us.

We had bread and olive oil to start with and until prawn and calamari were served. The entree with prawn and calamari was very tasty.

We had linguine pasta with seafood, pollo pizza and penne with chicken. Since our child wanted chicken they accommodated for side of chicken separately for him.

We had Tiramisu and Creme brûlée for dessert.

The food was good and fresh, service was good as well and atmosphere was good.
