I visited Oakville In a Bowl and had a fantastic experience as someone who is gluten intolerant. I initially started my order based on my own knowledge of gluten-free ingredients, but the moment I mentioned that I needed my meal to be gluten-free, the staff immediately stepped in with confidence and care.
The attendant was fully prepared to assist and clearly knew exactly how to handle gluten restrictions. Their ordering system was already set up to flag gluten-free needs, and the staff member walked me through the entire menu, suggesting safe substitutions and helping me build a bowl that fit my dietary requirements without compromising flavour.
I truly felt that the restaurant is well-equipped to support people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. And the final dish? A salmon poke bowl with all the recommended substitutes — absolutely delicious and completely satisfying.
I left feeling safe, supported, and well-fed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone with gluten restrictions!

Great experience. They have a few tables on the left of the store for dine in. Kind of like cafe style. They take your order at the front and they bring it to you or you could wait for it. The food portion is great. One of the best ramens I’ve ever had. It is awesome. Rich flavour and all the extras. The poke bowls are also delicious great punch if flavour and lots of extra. I typically don’t finish it. We also order from them on uber all the time. Now that we have discovered them it’s been 1-2 times a week. Thanks for such great food !

I usually don’t write reviews, but after what I witnessed on my recent visits, I felt I should share this.
I was sitting inside the café enjoying my food on both days when I saw a very uncomfortable situation between the restaurant employees and a delivery driver. The driver came in to pick up an order, and instead of handing the food politely, the staff started talking to him very rudely just because he didn’t have a delivery bag.
What shocked me the most is that they were loudly blaming the driver, saying things like “you people don’t bring bags” and continuing to argue, even though the restaurant itself keeps the food ready early and puts it in their own thermal bag until the pickup. The driver had no intention of causing any problem — he was just trying to do his job.
It was snowing heavily outside, and seeing the delivery guy standing there quietly while being spoken to like that honestly felt very bad. People forget that these drivers earn barely $3–$4 per delivery, and still they go out in freezing weather just to earn their bread and butter. The least they deserve is respect.
As a customer, it was uncomfortable and disappointing to watch. No matter how small the issue, basic politeness costs nothing. I hope the management trains the staff better on how to communicate respectfully, especially with people who are working so hard in tough conditions.

My wife ordered the ramen soup. I ordered a vegan ramen bowl plus 8 pcs fried tofu to share. The food was excellent with subtle flavours noted and the spicy nature of my wife’s ramen wasn’t just a bunch of heat but it had flavour to it too. A great lunch overall. Will definitely return.

Ramen order took 30 minutes to come out when dining in. When I inquired, a rude lady said it was because they had to wait for the water to boil the noodles. The resulting ramen was a very small portion 😣

The service provided by Abby Yang was very efficient, while keeping the best quality of food I could’ve gotten. The food was ready almost immediately after I ordered, and I even received a very nice and warming message on the lid from the chef. If you see that the person making your food has blonde hair and round glasses, you can be assured that the food is going to be delicious. 10/10, I definitely recommend coming here 🔥🔥🔥
