We went to JACs before a a show and it exceeded expectations. The grilled branzino was perfectly cooked with a light charred flavour and I loved the veggies that came with it. The Boston blue salad was light and delicious. I wish the flourless chocolate cake was a little less sweet but I really prefer dark chocolate and I’m sure most people would be pleased with the level of sweetness. We. Will return for sure.

We had a birthday party for 20 people at Jacs Bistro, in their private dining room, and it was amazing. Right from the start, working with Tori was great. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. She offered options and solutions and was always reachable. The night was perfect. Shila went above and beyond and made sure everything went as planned. Her charm and courteous nature added to a wonderful evening. A tip of the cap to the chef - the food was delicious! I would highly recommend Jacs Bistro and will definitely be going back.

Love this place, we celebrated my daughter’s sweet 16 in the private party room, awesome space.Actually the 2nd family gathering we’ve had in the private room.Great food, atmosphere and the owner is hands on and goes out of his way to make sure all is great.Honestly one of Oakville’s gem restaurants regardless of the occasion.

Service was not very good. Food needed more acidity. Fish was OK but the skin was very very soft not even a touch crispy. Over all a 3 out of 10.

Great food and interesting wine list with some moderately priced options.Our server Christie (3rd time she has been our server) was very attentive and efficient. The noise level increases as it gets busier (typical) so a quiet table request is suggested when you reserve your time and table)We love Jac’s and it’s an hour drive for us, so obviously we feel the time travelling is worth it.Lots of variety on the menu, and we have thoroughly enjoyed every item we have chosen.Parking: Street parking, not usually difficult.

What can I say about Jac"s other than that it was an absolutely perfect dining experience. We went on Friday with another couple. We were early so we sat at the bar and had a drink before being seated. The whole place is adorable, looks upscale, the food is out of this world, the service amazing, and the prices reasonable. Oh, and plenty of free street parking.Just call ahead to ensure you have a seat, and enjoy!

Went there for a large party last month. I have been there twice before. Food has been good. Nothing to complain about but nothing spectacular. Waitress staff was good. My issue was the Manager. They did not listen to any of my instructions for the table and blatantly ignored it. She was rude. I will not be going here again. There are so many good restaurants in Oakville/Burlington why would I go back? I have read some reviews on here about inequality of service. I didn’t think much of it but talking to some neighbours who went there they suggested they had experienced a similar experience from the Manager and greeter at the entrance. I can’t substantiate that, but I can say the Manager is rude from first hand and seems I’m not the only one who is giving this review. . That’s a shame.
