Stopped in for a quick bite, but left with a truly heartwarming experience. Audrey’s kind presence and radiant smile brought such genuine warmth. She even recommended her favourite milkshakes, and I ended up loving them. That simple gesture made me feel genuinely cared for. Sophia was equally kind and professional, and together they created a welcoming, uplifting atmosphere. The food was delicious, but it was their kindness and warmth that truly made this visit unforgettable. Thank you both, truly a wonderful service & I’ll definitely be back!

The food was very disappointing. Portion sizes and taste lacking. Banh mi meat was tough and served on a burger bun, karaage is mostly the breading crumbs.
Server was polite and friendly. Restaurant is small but clean, however no customer access to napkins and cutlery and I never got the fork for which I asked.

Don’t recommend.

Update and reply: I didn’t mention the “corrected additional serving” because there was no explanation why it was given and it’s obvious there was no belief that the portion size was an error but this was given as a one off as I commented and to avoid an honest review of my experience.

Cubano was very small. Fries were mostly crumbs, few whole fries. The beef stew was tasty but is actually a soup broth with tiny pieces of beef.

I frequent many small businesses, but I am honest in my reviews and my experience. Belng a small business should not remove the responsibility of quality taste and portion sizing. Customers will come in and return if your food is worth returning for.

My 1 star rating is an honest reflection of my personal experience and food preferences.

Probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I had the Cubano with fries as a side and it wasn't overly greasy like some places. Just the right amount of food and amazing taste!

Our first time trying here and did not disappoint! We inhaled our food that we forgot to take a photo. We got the Pho Beef Banh Mi and the Pho-ly Cheesesteak (which my husband lovedddddd) highly recommend!

The food at Just Braise is awesome! My favourite is the Pho Beef Banh Mi which is very unique and savoury. My kids enjoy the Just Karaage with the spicy mayo, and they also like the poutine. It's all freshly made and you can tell there was a lot of time and care put into making the meals. Highly recommend Just Braise.

Delicious honey sriracha chicken sandwich and kale salad!

Really disappointing after many years of coming here. I had to ask whether the management had changed. The ladies preparing the food were new, inexperienced and appeared not to know what they were doing. The Beef Banh Mi sandwich was soggy , dripping in mayonnaise and the whole sandwich was crudely put together and fell apart the moment it was delivered to me. The bun was not warmed as it had been previously. Probably the 25th time I have been here but I will not be coming again.

Went today, the woman running the place was wonderful. The banh mi sandwich, while in no way a traditional Vietnamese banh mi, was the second best banh mi I’ve ever had— and I’ve had a lot of them. The best, in fairness, was a Mexican fusion experiment served directly to me by a five-star chef, so second in this place ain’t bad. I was making inappropriate sounds of pleasure after every bite. The kimchi poutine was freaking stupendous. My wife had the BBQ pulled pork but on a salad, and it was standout as well. $40 for all that and a drink is a great deal for the area. Place was clean, service was fast and pleasant. We’ll be back as often as possible.

I had this since it was my safe option for me because it was my first time in this spot, but overall its great breakfast poutine def gon come back for their Vietnamese coffee.

This place really hit the spot, my friend was staying down the street in the hospital and I wanted to treat them to something nice. The menu here is really unique, and we were not disappointed in the slightest! We ordered the Sriracha Honey Karaage Sandwich, the flavor and umami was perfect, and the chicken was super crispy, we also got the Pho Beef Banh Mi Sandwich, the beef was nice and tender, and the pickling was delicious. We also thought their buns are just right, nice and soft and can carry a heavy amount of toppings. You can tell they use really good quality potatoes to make their fries, they had a really good natural sweetness to them, and we got the garlic mayo to dip with them. Lastly we got the Chocolate Brownie Milkshake, I was really impressed by it and will definitely order it again. I would highly recommend eating here, great quality food, and menu options that you can’t find around these parts, will definitely be back to re order these items and try other things in the menu. Love finding exciting restaurants like this
