I ordered a simple cake two weeks in advance and was told the decorator would call to confirm. No call ever came. I even went back the day before to make sure everything was confirmed, only to find out the decorator still had questions but never bothered to contact me.
On the day of pickup, the cake was indeed decorated as requested, but the decorator irresponsibly shoved it into a smaller box, ruining the entire design. When I arrived, the staff were polite but helpless, and the manager admitted there was nothing they could do besides offering me $15 off. That was hardly a solution when the cake for my occasion was destroyed.
Lesson learned: avoid ordering cakes from this bakery if you want your special day to go smoothly.

For a birthday dinner I needed pearl onions, button mushrooms and gladiolas. That is my sister's birth month flower. I had already looked in four different stores, striking out. I got everything I needed at Longo's. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It's always the place to go for something specific and excellent quality. Thanks so much!

●SHAME ON YOU LONGOS MANAGMENT● This post is about the employee of the pizza station in this store! Longos hired a person to handle food with a mustache and beard for that particular pizza station. That employee never wears a protective net on his hair or mustache/beard. It's been several times that I pointed that out to the manager and assistants of Longos Store nothing has been done to solve this. I think everyone knows that whoever wears a beard naturally loses pieces of dead skin and hair not to mention it's very unsanitary. He is preparing pizza from scratch without the nets, therefore looks like Longos promotes and allows this disgusting procedure to continue.
